Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Here's some basic things about me: Penname: AutumnBreeze12 Where I live: America Age: 16 Gender: Female Height: 5 foot 3 inches Hair color: Blonde Eye color: Blue Birthday: March 20 Here are the status on my stories: Return of the Parents: I update it every two weeks. If I don't update it, I have a good reason. The Harry in this story is a stronger-than-normal Harry. But not an invincible Harry. The pairings are: Harry/Ginny, James/Lily, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks, and there are a couple of others that I haven't decided yet. The title changed from Returning of the Parents to Return of the Parents because people kept telling me "Returning" was wrong in a grammatical sense. This story is also going to go under lots of editing, but I'm keeping it up. Return of the Parents is about how Harry's parents came back to life, and how Harry copes with it and having a very pushy familiar. An Icy Capture is it's side-story. An Icy Capture: A side-story to Return of the Parents. It's about Harry's familiar, Ice, and how he had gotten captured and put in the pet store where Harry found him. This is a one-shot, and is completed. Who is This?: Taken down for some serious editing and reconstruction. Don't expect it up anytime soon. The prequel to What I See (also taken down), and it tells of Draco's father in court. What I See: Taken down for some serious editing and reconstruction. Don't expect it up anytime soon. It tells of Draco's life, and how he decided not to be a Death Eater. Who Is This? is it's prequel. Training: Taken down for some serious editing and reconstruction. Don't expect it up anytime soon. The story was about how Harry got some training to defeat Voldemort. My first chapter story up on this site, and one of my worst stories. Last Night Living: Nearly done being revamped. A one-shot that illustrated how Harry's parents could have died that night. At one point, it could have been considered a side-story to Return of the Parents, but that wasn't my intent. My first ever story put up on this site. The Great Television Mess Up: This was written for a contest. It's random and stupid, and has a weird sense of humor in it. And a small amount of Malfoy bashing. It's a one-shot, written during writer's block. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out horrible. Q&A: (Don't read this unless you've read all of the chapters up so far. I don't want to accidentally spoil something in chapter 38 when you're on chapter 36, or something) Q: When will all your other stories will be up? A: It depends on the story. Training isn't anywhere near ready to be put back up again - I haven't touched it since I took it down. Then What I See/Who Is This? has only been touched a couple of times, but I hope I can get it up again soon. I plan on writing more chapters of it, though, before I put it up so that if I go through a bad writer's block again I have something to give you. And then Last Night Living is almost done being edited. It should be up sometime soon. Q: There are some mistakes in An Icy Capture. Will you fix them? A: I might fix them if I ever get the time. I know that there are a few spelling and grammar mistakes, and one reviewer said that snakes hibernate in the winter. Of course, Ice happens to be a totally different breed of snake then any other, so normal rules don't apply to him. Which means no hibernating in the winter. But still, the confusion is there. Also, many people were confused with how strong Ice happened to be. Yes, Ice is very strong. He just doesn't show it most of the time. Q: Is the voice Donna? A: Maybe, I don't want to spoil anything. Q: What about Voldemort? We've heard more about Donna then him. A: Yeah, I know. I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be putting more POVs in the story, and not just about Donna. Q: What is with Ice? How does he know all that he does? A: He is a very old snake. Also, there's something about Ice that you all don't quite know yet, but I don't want to spoil that part either. Q: How long will this story be? How many chapters? Will there be sequels? A: When I started this story, I planned on about thirty chapters. You all see what happened to that. Well, now I'm planning on ending the story around 60-70 chapters. Return of the Parents will go on through fifth year. I am most definitely planning sequels. Two of them, to be exact. I plan on making the story go through Harry's fifth, sixth, and seventh year. At first, I planned on making it go through his fourth year too. But then I realized it would be better if Voldemort was back already, so I decided on fifth year. The sequels hopefully won't be as long, and won't take so long to write. And hopefully during the sequels I won't be hit with another bad writer's block. Q: What are your plans for the story? Are you just making this up as you go along? A: I admit, I do make up a lot of it as I go on. Most of it is the fluff, but I occasionally put in something or think up something that wasn't in the original plan. Like, I hadn't planned to put the Graphorns in, but as I was writing that chapter the idea came to me and wouldn't leave me alone, so I ended up writing it. Though, there wasn't much of an original plan at first... when I first started writing this story, I was still new to writing. You can tell by my earlier chapters that I wasn't the best at writing back then. Now, I have a huge plot developed. Everything will really start happening in sixth year. Fifth year is more of just setting the stage and developing the plot a little. In sixth year, there will be much more excitement. Q: In chapter 39, don't you think you went a little overboard with the romance thing? A: I didn't think of it that way. I just wanted to portray Harry and Ginny's relationship, and I thought it would be a good time for James and Lily to make up. However, you needn't worry too much--this story isn't a romance story. It's primarily action/adventure with dashes of my weird sense of humor here and there. Romance would be the third category, I suppose, but the story isn't supposed to be centered around the romances. Q: Is Ron really going dark?! A: I can't spoil that! Q: What are the babies going to be named? A: Why does everyone want spoilers? I can't tell you! Q: What are the sequels going to be named? A: I have a couple of names in my head, but I haven't quite decided. I know that it will start with "Return of the..." because it wouldn't be right without it! Q: What's the point to all the secrecy? Why does he need to not tell people what's going on with him? And why does he keep telling people different things? A: Ah, the ever-asked question. I have a few reasons for this. My first reason is that Harry wants to train--and he thinks that if he tells his parents the full story, that they will stop him from training. At first glance this isn't much of an excuse, but you need to realize that Harry just got his parents back and he doesn't want to fight with them. The argument that Harry has fought with his parents, and that they have been back for a while, can be countered with this: they haven't fought over anything as serious as this. I mean, sure, Harry has broken the rules and things like that that made him fight with his parents, but nothing that could break apart the family. Harry is nervous that if he tells his parents what he's been doing, then his father might disown him. A silly thing to worry about, since James would probably never do that, but nonetheless Harry can't help but to think that. Another reason for his secrecy is that he doesn't really want to involve his family in the conflict. It's almost like his way of shielding his family from the war, though he knows he can't stop them from participating, he does what he can to take the brunt of it from them. There are more reasons that will be explained more thoroughly in upcoming chapters. As for why he keeps telling people different things... well, the story has leaked different things out. To Remus, he only suspected about the animagi forms. So Harry only told him about the animagi forms. Sirius saw Harry go in the Chamber, so Harry only told him about the Chamber. And as for the fact that Harry is forgetting what he told people--he has had a very hard, difficult year. The facts are running around in his head. He knows who he has told, but he can't remember exactly WHAT he has told the people, because he can't get his facts straight. He knows what he told Sirius, however, and he knows that Ginny knows everything. That's the end of the Q&A session. There isn't much here yet, but anyone can ask me to put up a question. Just contact me, whether by review or PM or whatever... thanks to the people who have asked me something! |
