Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Sweep, Cliff McNish, Card Captor Sakura, and Yu-Gi-Oh.

Penname: Self-Stirring Cauldron.

Actual name: Caitriona O' Mahony

Favourite city: Rome (Just had to put this in. Rome is the best city in the world)

Siblings: Two rather insane brothers and a very cute dog.

Country of origin: U.S.A (San Fran)

Country of residence: Ireland. Yep, I am Irish through and through really. I'm from Cork. Up the Rebels! (Very few non-Irish people will understand that.)

Isn't my name cool? It was on the box of the 'Snape's Potions kit' thing. (What? Bono got his name off a box of something to do with washing machines)

I apologise in advance to anybody that I read their stories but don't review. Generally, you see, I save the stories on to my computer and read them later (so I don't cost my parents a fortune in Internet bills)

I love the Hermione/Krum pairings in Harry Potter and there are so bloody few of them! I also like Dumbledore/McGonnagall.

Some of my favourite books are the Pendragon seriesby D.J McHale. Really. If you haven't read them you should. Also the Doomspell trilogy by Cliff McNish. And the first few Artemis Fowl's by Eoin Colfer. (Irish writer. Like myself)

I like the Lord of the Rings trilogy but they're quite heavy reading. If you're thinking of reading them I would recommend reading the Hobbit first. It will ease you into Tolkien's style and it's easier going than the Lord of the Rings.

Oh. I tried the Silmarillion once. Apologies to fans but I couldn't get past the first chapter.

My hobbies include Music(I play the violin), writing (obviously), acting, reading and various arts and crafts.

I also have a thing about languages. My native tongue is English. I speak fluent Irish.(That's Gaelic for Americans) I have passable second year French, and I'm learning Latin. I even have a few words(literally) of Italian. And Elvish! (Lord of the Rings Elvish. I came across this cool website with loads of words and phrases in Elvish)

For the fourth Harry Potter movie I made a t-shirt which said in fabric paint on the front 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good' and on the back 'Mischief Managed'. Ring any bells?

You may not believe me on this, but I wrote a fanfic for the Doomspell trilogy by Cliff McNish and it was reviewed by the author himself! Seriously! I went onto his website and left him an email and my name. (Other than Self-Stirring-Cauldron) and he emailed me back!
