![]() Author has written 2 stories for Merlin. Hello, Welcome to my page! We know the drill. If you are looking here, then you have come wondering! Who is this author? What are they like? Maybe you are visiting to see if I've written anything! Well, I don't have much published. But I do have a lot of stories running around in my mind. That doesn't help you much though. So here is what I can tell you about this author: I am a woman in my early twenties. I live in the USA. I really enjoy being active outdoors. I like hiking, traveling, and going on adventures. I've been to six different countries, I like chocolate, sunsets, polar bears, and Unicorns. I am an amateur photographer. I tend to take photos of landscapes (because like being outside!). I have CF, so I have a lot of time to watch shows and movies while I do my treatments. I recently graduated with my BA and I'm starting to figure out this whole thing called life. :) BBC's Merlin was the first show that got me into fan fiction. I could not accept that the show was over! I thus started looking for different ways to keep the story alive. The way I see it, through fan fiction I am able to revisit worlds and characters as they continue to live through these fan stories. So technically, stories don't ever have to end and I get to keep dreaming! The stories I read tend to be enriching to canon and make me feel as if these are extra parts to the book/movie/episode. I've been here since probably 2017. Like many out there, I would love to start writing some of my own works someday. Fan fiction has been a great learning tool for me to find my own writing voice. I have learned so much by reading and dabbling. I grow with each story, but it is very difficult for me to put together a whole cohesive and interesting plot. But as they say, the best way to learn, is to do! If you have any advice, I'd love to hear it! Constructive feedback is enriching. I encourage everyone to help each other in thoughtful and kind ways. Every story I read, I take a moment to appreciate the creativity, dedication, and talent it takes to write and publish them... and I will try to be better at reviewing and telling them that! (I'll try Nytd!) My stories: Merlin- Protecting You: Merlin takes a cross bow bolt meant for Arthur. Right through the chest. Arthur is left to deal with the consequences. Lots of angst. 3-4 Chapters. Worried Arthur and classic self-sacrificing Merlin. Happy ending. (A/N: First story I finished, even if it's a little rushed. I needed the Merlin angst out of my system!) Can't Teach A Dog New Tricks: It starts out with one assassin in the Prince's bedchambers. Now, something has gone horribly wrong. Merlin and Arthur seem to be aging at a fast rate. Will Merlin be able to figure out what is happening before someone recognizes him as Dragoon the Great? Some fluff and bonding. Adventure and action in the alter chapters. Cannon relationships. :) (A/N: Aww. This was the first piece I attempted, published, and never finished. Maybe I'll try rewriting it in the future for those of you whom I left hanging.) Well, that's all I currently have for you. I am working on a Hobbit Fic that I intend to finish and post soon! Thanks for checking out my profile! Hope to see you again. Have a great day! -MYROSEDREAM Oh good! You're still here! It's not over! Don't go home! Just kidding. This is extra circular at this point. Here are lists of stories I like and would probably recommend. Including, but not limited to, and in no particular order: Books: Harry Potter, Eragon (the book), Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Timeline, Watchers, Fairy Tale, and more. I'm trying to revive my love of reading books (and not just Fan Fic) as an adult! If you have suggestions, let me know! TV shows: Merlin Quantum Leap Monk Doctor Who (Especially from 9-12. I've only been able to watch New Who.) White Collar The Mentalist Resident Alien Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Star Trek (TOS, Next Gen, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, and Lower Decks.)
