About Me:

Hello. I've finally gotten around to updating this. I've thought it's been too long for a long time and I just hate keeping things the same, so I figured it was time for a change, seeing as I have changed. After all, I am no longer 17, as I was when I wrote this. I am, actually 18, now, but I am turning 19 in two months. YAY. I just recently started college, so that is keeping me busy, but writing is still a large part of my life. Fanfiction is still a large part of my life.

Currently I have no idea what I want to do with my life. There are too many things that interest me and I know I need more than just writing, at least until I hit it big (not sure if that'll ever happen). Other than writing/reading, I am a big fan of tv and movies.

Although I've said before that I want to focus more on my original works, I think I will stick with fanfiction for a while longer yet and I hope to get some new stuff up soon. Not all of it set in the Harry Potter fandom, as I have expanded on that as of late. Heroes and Merlin being the fandoms of choice. As to the Harry Potter fanfic I am currently writing (I think I've given up on the other WIPs), Ameliorating the Future, I am working on that as well but updates will be scarce as I figure out the end.

I think I'll leave it at that seeing as I've recently gotten a livejournal and I imagine it might be easier for you guys to contact me that way. A link to that will be at the end of my profile.

I'm a fan of...

Books:

As much as I liked my list of books...I think it's time I got rid of it. It was taking up too much room and I feel like it's just in the way. So I'll just mention a few favorites...I'm a big Jane Austen fan. I love all 6 of her books and will swear by all of them. I've inparticularly read Emma and Pride and Prejudice at least five times each and every time it is like reading it for the first time. Harry Potter is obviously another one of my loves...as well as a number of other fantasy books. I read almost anything and am a particular fan of the classics. Anything by Charles Dickens, the Bronte sisters, Alexander Dumas to name a few...I am also into contemporary fiction, not all of it as classy. I like Meg Cabot, Christopher Paolini, Suzzane Collins, Anthony Horowitz, Michael Scott, to name a few. And, I guess that's it...

Movies:

Again, quite an extensive list. I can't even begin to consider what my favorite movie could be much less a short list of ones I like...but my movie preferences lie with my books...I'll leave it at that. Although I still stand that the remake of Star Trek by JJ Abrams is as close to perfection as a movie will get.

TV:

And here I will make a list. Particularly because I am pretty big on older shows rather than still running ones. I love: Gilmore Girls, Heroes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Merlin, Warehouse 13, Parenthood...and tons more I can't think of at the moment.

Music:

A variety. Alternative Rock for the most part. Coldplay and Muse are possibly my favorite bands. I recently discovered Adele, and I quite like her as well. I listen to a lot of different music...I'm big on soundtracks and musicals as well.

Fan Fiction

As of right now, I've taken everything that was in this section before down, because I fear I will not finish most of those WIPs, at least at the moment. However, I did keep Ameliorating, seeing as that is something that I am working on as well as Generations seeing as that is something I just recently became involved in. I hope to post more one-shots in the future in all genres. I am also working on a Merlin fanfic...planning stages...and I think that's it.

Ameliorating the Future

Summary: Three months have passed since that fateful night when Dumbledore was killed and Harry vowed to kill his murderer, and it's been a year since Harry found out Severus Snape was his father, but this time it is not the worries of making a relationship work that cloud Harry's mind but how he will deal with the war that has now become all too clear, how he will find the Horcruxes in solitude, and how to distract himself enough to not think about his father. But how can he accomplish all of this when he's worried sick about his best friend and he has no idea where to begin searching for the pieces of Voldemort's soul.

Notes: This is the sequel to my Severitus Challenge (Atoning the Past) and is set three months after the events of that one. If you're planning on reading this some of the things that happen in this story will seem a little confusing so I would advice reading Atoning... first. As of right now (9.23.10) I am still working on this fic and need 2-4 more chapters to the end. I do hope to post soon. Perhaps in the next two weeks.

Generations

Sumarry: When Claire discovers that Nathan isn't her father, she travels to Ireland where she hopes to find some information as to where her real father is, she isn't expecting to run into an old friend she thought dead, even though Angela had had a vision...When no one knows the heroes from the villans and mistakes from the past keep haunting them, what are our favorite heroes to do. At every turn they must deal with new problems. What does Adam have to do with this, and is he really the one behind the founders getting killed. What was that saying: "who diggeth a pit shall fall therein".

Notes:I started this story a while back in my mind, but I never got around to writing it...but after watching Heroes this summer and catching up to everything I really started writing it and here we are. I'm not too sure where I'm going with it. It is Paire and SyElle...with some other pairings possibly that I can't mention yet as I haven't figured them out yet. This is my version of how season 2 should have gone and what would have happened if Peter and Claire weren't related. NO INCEST. AU. As of right now (9.23.10) I am working on the plot and the next few chapters and will post in the next week or so. I really hope to get a bigger response. I am trying to keep this story very accurate to true Heroes fashion with an ensemble cast and the going back and forth with the characters. Hope everyone is enjoying it.
