YES, I am in fact still breathing. No, Covid did not get me, though I've had it twice, hahaha. Hi guys! I'm freakin' 31 now. Does anyone even remember me?

I used to write SI fics semi-consistently. Then life happened, and now I am suddenly An Adult. My twenties were a whole thing... but now that I'm on the other side of it, I feel like I can breathe again (and stop freaking out about everything all the time). Trying my hand at this writing thing again, because it used to bring me a lot of joy back before my overactive brain became my own worst enemy.

NR and OAC are my two main priorities. None of the others got beyond a few chapters anyway, haha.

Fic status/updates

(4/27/23 update: stories labeled "inactive" are ones I have zero intention of getting back to. I bit off way more than I could chew having so many stories going at once, lol. The inspiration just ain't there for most of them now.)

New Reality is the oldest of my stories, the most popular, and the one I focus my attention on 90% of the time. Witness OC Brit's initial debut, in the world of Tales of Symphonia! My first attempt at a realistic portrayal of a self-insertion, started when I was sixteen. Currently attempting to revise/rewrite the earliest chapters. Rest assured that the writing quality gets much better as the story goes on.

Status: 4700 words so far on chapter 69. Making progress!

The Path to Paradise is the sequel to Into the Nightmare. It takes place in Silent Hill 3, three years after the events in the first story. Still working some important plot points out in my head, so it might be a bit before I start updating this one regularly.

Status: Inactive. Maybe I'll get a flash of inspiration when they finally come out with that SH2 remake haha

Far From Home is my shot at a realistic Pokemon fic. My goal is for the story to have a deep plot and some sufficiently dark moments, but at the same time retaining some of the fun, lighthearted spirit of the games. In which Team Rocket is a legitimate criminal organization and Pokemon do more than just faint.

Status: Inactive

Operation: Avert Crisis is an unofficial sequel to NR - meaning, it's not "canon" as far as NR goes. The official sequel (if I decide to write it, in the distant future after I finish NR) will be a crossover with another Tales game (which one? HA, that's a secret!). Anyway, this is a story revolving around OC Brit attempting to save the life of Zack Fair - and, of course, she's going to bite off way more than she can chew. But that's the fun of it!

Status: about 1000 words done so far on chapter 19. Slow writer? Who, me? Nooooo.

Strong Hearts is yeeet another unofficial NR sequel, because obviously I don't have enough of them. This one takes place in Tales of Xillia, and is done very much in the style of ToX - there are two sides to the story, two main characters. One side follows OC Brit as she attempts to locate the source of a breach in the dimensional walls between Aselia, Earth, and Rieze Maxia in order to protect the worlds and secure a way back to her old friends. Another side follows Mithos, who survived the final battle and is now trying to piece his life together in an unfamiliar world. Their two paths will inevitably converge, and OC Brit will shit an entire brick.
