Author has written 21 stories for Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Ball Z, Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter, and Inkheart. Hello, people of Earth/ Mars/ Pluto/ Wherever you are reading this from! Welcome to my profile page. I am Shadowed Shinobi, also known as Shadow. I am currently a college student studying something completely unrelated to writing (Mechanical Engineering/ Mathematics). I'd like to think that I have a healthy level of self-esteem, but it makes me incredibly happy when someone compliments my stories. So yes, I am influenced by other people's opinions of me. Sometimes. Like so many other people on this fabulous website, I enjoy writing. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time to devote to this endeavor as I would like. Hence the drabbles. I prefer writing drabbles because it only requires a short burst of inspiration rather than an extended, in-depth plot. However, I have lately started a few ongoing projects. They are as follows: Double-Crossed: This is my Trunks/ Android Seventeen story. I haven't updated it in forever because of life, laziness, and a short attention span. Actually, the real reason is probably that I switched the type of fanfiction that I'm reading (DBZ to Harry Potter), and I like to write what I read. I have the entire thing planned out, and I will finish it someday. I just don't know when. Shades of Truth: This Ron/Hermione story is a one-shot currently, but I might add a second chapter if the inclination strikes me. Stochasticity: This set of random Harry Potter pairings will be updated as often as I feel like writing the chapters. Things Unsaid: This Harry Potter story will be update once a day. As of right now, there will be 77 chapters unless I think of more dead people. I am only using ghosts whose deaths were specifically mentioned within the books: The Bloody Baron, Helena Ravenclaw, Nick, and Myrtle. This story was loosely inspired by Hemingway's famous story in six words: "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn." I like how much is conveyed in so few words, which is what I aspire to do with my story. However, I recognize that I am not nearly as talented a writer as Hemingway. Like, not even close. I'm not that conceited. I recently removed Cracked, which was a Draco/Harry story that I posted a while ago. I decided it wasn't really my style. It was angsty in a different way from anything else that I've written, and it kind of creeped me out. So I made it go away. Other Stories: I am currently working on a Charlie Weasley/ Oliver Wood multi-chapter story. For some reason, I want to write the entire thing before I post any of it. It's currently eight thousand words with no end in sight. I'll put it up here eventually. Now, moving on to my likes/ dislikes/ ramblings. Favorite Shows: NCIS, Glee, and other shows that I can't remember at the moment. Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Atlas Shrugged, The Chronicles of Narnia Favorite Pairings: Remus Lupin and Sirius Black (HP), Charlie Weasley and Oliver Wood (HP), Dumbledore and Grindelwald (HP), Zemyx (KH), Axel and Roxas (KH), Sora and Riku (KH), Goku and Vegeta (DBZ), Trunks and Android 17 (DBZ) Just a warning: In my mind, a significant number of people are gay. Please note that in real life/actual shows/actual books these people may not be gay. I don't care. In my own twisted little fantasy world, they are. Dislikes: A myriad of things, depending on the day. The list consistently includes Chihuahuas, oysters, and six o'clock in the morning. A couple of other things about myself: I like to write, but I've never shown anyone I know anything I've written for fear that it isn't good enough. I love to act, but am afraid of studying anything creative in college because it is not stable enough. So I'm not. Sometimes I really like myself (phsysically and mentally), other times I can't see why anyone would want to be my friend. But this is a secret, so shhh. I talk to myself and recite random snippets from plays, movies, and novels. I am afraid of imperfection, but I'm not perfect. Quite a conundrum, isn't it? Thanks for listening to my egocentric rants! Please take the time to read my stories and, if you don't find it a terrible inconvenience, write a couple of reviews! -Shadow |
