Fic Status Annoucement (Sept 2009): I know many of you have been wondering about my lack of updates and unfortunately I have some bad news on that front. Both In Memory's Wake and Unexpected Grace are going on temporary hiatus. I work full time in a demanding job and I've made the difficult choice of going back to school for an advanced degree part time in the evenings at a very competitive university. Needless to say, I am going to be overwhelmingly busy. I anticipate not having time for friends, family or my life... so although it pains me, I must for the sake of my sanity, put these fics on hold.

Now, I do promise that that hiatus is NOT a permanant one. I have resolved to complete both of these fics and I will not fail you in that. I ask for your patience, understanding and support, although I know it a lot to ask of each of my very loyal and faithful readers. I would suggest to everyone that's not on an alert, author or story, to sign up for one. That will at least save you the headache of checking back for updates.

MY STORIES:

In Memory's Wake (in progress): HPSS Slash. Sequel to 'Light on the Dark Side of Me.' (Not HBP/DH-compliant)
Through trial and hardship, Snape and Harry have finally found each other. But as Snape’s demons reemerge, can their tenuous relationship survive? And when the unthinkable happens, Harry begins to wonder whether Snape wants to forget or needs to. Dumbledore will figure prominently in this tale as well.

Unexpected Grace (in progress): ADSS pre-Slash novel-length angsty fic; This is the pairing closest to my heart...and if you haven't read this ship, you really don't know what you're missing.
This is a gentle, emotional journey (at times joyous, in others heartbreaking) of AD's and SS's friendship and how it is affected by SS's return to Voldemort as a spy in GoF. This fic examines their past relationship, its evolution into their present friendship, and what 'could' be under the right circumstances.

The Best Laid Plans... (complete); Sequel to 'Much Madness is Divinest Sense'
This story picks up where Much Madness left off. Albus is determined to make amends for his previous subterfuge by whisking Severus away on a romantic holiday. Things do not go exactly as planned.

Much Madness is Divinest Sense (complete): ADSS pre-slash/slash 4-chapter fic.
This story is very different than my other offerings. It is a comedy at its heart and is an enjoyable light read. It’s way too much fun to pass up…especially if jealous-Severus and desperate/scheming-Albus appeal to you at all.

Light on the Dark Side of Me (complete): HPSS Slash, 34 chapter novel-length fic, a lot of SnapeAngst, takes place in HP's 7th year and ignores HBP/DH-canon. The sequel is currently in progress: 'In Memory's Wake' (see above)
This story is best described as a crazy roller-coaster ride between these two, exploring the horrors of Snape's life and how that darkness makes it difficult/impossible(?) for HP and SS to get together. Dumbledore is also a major character here and there is a significant examination of the paternal friendship between AD and SS.
