Age: 22 (as of November 9th '12! W00T!)

Anime/Manga that I like: Rurouni Kenshin, Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun (manga preferred to anime but I'm a fan of both), Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Jing: King of Bandits (regular and Twilight Tales), Ghost in the Shell, Soul Eater, 2.Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Ouran High School Host Club, Wolf's Rain, Bleach, Dragon Knights, HunterXHunter, Naruto, Akira (manga), Fairy Tale, Chobits, Tsubasa: Those With Wings, Wish, Oh My Goddess, One Peice, Rave Master, Shaman King, Yu Yu Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh, Angelic Layer, Cyborg 009, Case Closed, Karin (or Chibi Vampire), Eyesheild 21, M.A.R.: Marchen Awakens Romance, Gundam Seed, Fruits Basket, .hack/SIGN, .hack/SIGN:Legend of the Twilight, Hellsing, Magic Knight Rayearth, Scryed (anime), X/1999, and xxxHolic.
Authors (of novels) that I like: 1.Orson Scott Card (he wrote Speaker for the Dead, that automatically puts him at the top of the list), 2.Douglas Adams, 2.Terry Pratchett, 3.Peirs Anthony, and 4.Harry Harrison. (many more, but that list above was long enough)
And, because it doesn't really fit into the above categories, but it deserves mention all the same: Empowered, by Adam Warren. If you don't mind the fact that it often borderlines on being softcore bondage porn, it's awesome.
Ranting: Big fan of comics, anime, manga, and literature in general, though I like movies, and videogames, too (I guess that you could say that my true passion is Stories). I'm currently toying around with various fics, but nothing's been completed.
NOTICE: I never, EVER, flame. That's something I need to say, if I feel like flaming someone I either a.) just don't review, or b.) Say my complaints along with my compliments.

Riiiiiiight... well, no one probably cares, but this is a link to a joint fanfiction.net account run by myself and two friends
October 23, 2007:
Hey, figured that I'd put this up for those of you who are actually watching this account, a number that I previously thought to be zero but, it turns out, contains at least one person, so... here you go:
Stories in the works:
Level of completion
undecided, possibly Coda
Ansem once told King Mickey that humans were composed of three things; heart, body, and soul. When a heart is stolen by darkness, it becomes a Heartless, a creature of pure Darkness and instinct. The leftover body and mind become a Nobody, something that was never meant to exist, a being governed solely by cold, calm, intellect, because it lacks the emotion provided by the Heart. But what of the third component? What happens when the Heart has succumbed to Darkness, and the physical form to Nothingness? What happens to the Soul?
Now this is interesting. Currently, all that I (and my co-author, the guy who calls himself Faust in The Quantum Nothing team) have down is the basic story line concept, a few ideas for specific scenes, and a general(-ly disagreed upon) idea of where it should go. But no real progress is probably going to be made until Faust and I can sit down and actually try to write it out. Wish us luck.
July 19, 2008:
Well, it's been forever since I've done anything here, and no, to the only person I know of who's watching this, I'm not putting up my OTP list, not yet anyways. The dmn thing is way too fcking long, and as such I'm not even sure if it would fit here. This is keeping in mind that I've got at least one OTP for every anime/manga I've ever seen... except Serial Expirements Lain, and that's because I haven't seen enough of it yet to get the minimum feel for the characters I require before I start pairing them up in my head... I'm getting so far off track...
Either way, the point is that I'm updating. First thing's first: as for the above stories... well thanks to some conusion with switching computers and recent developments in the story line, I'm probably not going to write Understanding Worlds Apart. As for the name-still-undecided Coda, dearest Faust has started on it, and written some scenes, but he and I find ourselves, or at least I find myself in regards to him and said scenes, heavily debating them, beyond that, no edit of any sort has taken place. The fact that I'm on vacation and therefore haven't spoke to him in two months, beyond that, there's the fact that the last time he'd written a scene was I'd guess about a month before I left... we'll seen what state things are in when I get back... oye vey. Beyond that, the above list of anime's I like is out of date. The order has changed since then, and the list itself has grown almost exponentially... and I'm currently a bit more than way too freakin' lazy to update it and perhaps more than double it's length... I swear, one day it's going to contain the entire Anime/Manga section of FF.net... drat. Sometimes, I hate being a fan-boy.
July 19, 2008 EDIT:
P.S.: Also, I'm basically applying/willing to be the Beta Reader of anyone who wants me. I'd have an official Beta page thingy-ma-bob, except that, to be an official Beta I've got to have published either five stories, or 'have published totalling at least 6000 words'. Ba-humbug

As another note, I f@cking hate hate hate hate hate hate college. It's also got to be the best thing that's ever happened to me, or ever will, but I still hate it to little contemptible pieces.

SQUEEE! Here's why: for those who are unaware, I live in Iowa. And this year was my first attending Anime Iowa. While taking a brief brake there with my dear friend Faust, we were interviewed. Said interview is now up at
We're in audio extra 1, at 18:35, discussing Pride. I do most of the talking. Faust mentions Shakespeare! Everyone is happy!
