Author has written 4 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Anime X-overs, and Inuyasha.Like his numerous website redesigns, Sandrock's life has had little direction until recently. In his early years, impressed by his teachers, he aspired to one day join their ranks, not banking on the fact that by the time he was old enough to do so, little kids began to annoy him and teenagers were more likely to beat teachers than respect them.
Shifting to the world of information technology to test the waters, he soon became bored, and was drafted into the military for two years, however managing to get out in time to welcome in the millennium wearing something other than camouflage green.
Sandrock will shortly be graduating with a diploma after spending three years in a local college-type instituition where he purportedly studies cool things about the media, and will soon be travelling beyond the tropical shores of this island city in Southeast Asia to the Great White North to pursue an honours degree. He also moonlights as a freelance reporter for a local newspaper, reviewing theatre, writing previews and the occasional feature and doubles up as a student editor for a school-published teen lifestyle magazine.
Compared to some, Sandrock is a relative newbie to the world of anime, only having been introduced to it in 1999. He started out with mecha anime, and was quite an avid fan of the various newer Gundam series, though he never really managed to get into Macross. His tastes in anime, however, soon expanded to include other genres, and he is glad to include, in his all-time favourites list, anime such as Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Fushigi Yuugi and Excel Saga.
Sandrock's hobbies include buying anime, buying console games, buying anime merchandise, and plaster anime merchandise on walls. In his spare time, he also enjoys writing short fiction pieces, though of late time has been scarce.
