Author has written 8 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Misc. Plays/Musicals, Pet Shop of Horrors, Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo, and Misc. Anime/Manga.

VBM will shortly be an undergraduate at a university way up noth, studying English Literature. This does, alas, mean she has to plough through Heart of Darkness for a second time, despite vowing once her college days were behind her that she would never set eyes on that blasted book again. It was not the easiest text to study under a fanatic aficionado of political correctness.

She is looking forward to being able to curl up in a comfy chair in the library all day, and legitimately claim to be working. Also, she finds herself wondering whether writing Beowulf fanfic is liable to get her kicked off her course.

VBM likes rainy days, oversized duvets, and wriggling her toes on sandy beaches. Fiction-wise she will read just about everything, from Stephen King horror to Julian May sci-fi and back to Terry Prachett. She adores anime, has a secret weakness for 70's shojou manga (particularly the crack-filled awesomeness that is From Eroica With Love), and wishes her Japanese was better. Deutsch is auch toll!

Fandom-wise, VBM is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Being Human season 2, mourns Firefly as the Greatest Show That Never Was, prefers Harry Potter fanfic to canon and recently got her heart broken into itty bitty pieces by Torchwood: Children of Earth.

She reads just about every genre of fanfic available, tends to dissolve into a squealing fannish mess when slash is involved, and prefers plot with her porn.

Oh, and she pretty much lives on TV tropes.
