![]() Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter, 100, and Hunger Games. Please Note: To all my readers, I apologize for the extended hiatus. I had not intended on being inactive for so long. I was taking a few weeks to catch up some chapters and then life happened and I wound up quitting my job and starting a new one, and the past few weeks have been completely exhausting what with training and everything and I haven't had as much time to write as I would have liked (and by that I mean I've had none). But life is finally starting to settle down and I intend to get back to writing and hope to be able to start posting again very soon. Again, I am very sorry. Please continue to be patient. New chapters are on their way! Update: The hiatus may be extended a bit longer as I need to dedicate some time to editing my own novel right now, but rest assured I have not forgotten about you all and I will be back as soon as I can! Hi! I'm islandgirl394, a Ravenclaw, and a big fan of Harry Potter specifically, but lots else as well :) About House of the Brave This next gen series follows Victoire, Dominique, Molly, Louis, James, Lucy, Albus, Rose, Fred, Lily, Hugo, and Roxanne as they navigate their seven years at Hogwarts, with one story per character and one chapter dedicated to each month of each academic year. This story is NOT Cursed Child compliant, but IS epilogue compliant. They can be read independently, but for the full effect it is best to read them all together. About The Brightest Witch of Her Age This story is a re-working of sevenpurplebubbles' original work under the same name. The story follows Hermione through all seven books, from her point of view, showing her thoughts and feelings as well as parts of her life that Harry wasn't around for/aware of, and therefore aren't mentioned in the books. The story is 100% canon compliant in that nothing will contradict anything in the books insofar as the books are a representation of Harry's perspective on things. About Tales of a Muggle Studies Teacher This story explores the idea of Hogwarts hiring a muggle to teach muggle studies. It follows muggle Katie Harris through one full year of teaching at Hogwarts, and takes place in the next gen universe timeline. It is NOT House of the Brave compliant, though you'll probably notice many similarities, especially in who the professors are. About The Founding Four This story tells the tale of the four Hogwarts founders, starting before the idea for Hogwarts had even been dreamed, and following them throughout their time at Hogwarts. The story jumps back and forth between the POV of each of the four founders in order to tell the full story of what happened to each of them. The story is canon compliant. It does contain many added details and plotlines that are never mentioned in canon, but none of them will outright contradict anything that it known as true. About The Boy Who Lived This story is a crossover between Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. It uses the concept and universe of the Hunger Games as the stage, but characters from Harry Potter. It follows Harry, a boy from district seven, as he is reaped and must travel to the Capitol and participate in the Hunger Games alongside other familiar characters from the Harry Potter series. This story takes lots of creative liberty with the characters in terms of ages, affiliations, family relations, and even last names sometimes. It's meant to be fun rather than strict in terms of the canon compliance of the characters. About The 101st This story follows Bellamy through the series, detailing his thoughts, filling in the gaps, and showing things from his point of view. Each chapter covers one episode of the show, and chapters may vary in length depending on how much material there is to work with for each episode. Other Information My official updating day is Wednesday, but I can't promise an update every Wednesday. If I miss a Wednesday update I may update Thursday or Friday to make up for it. Also, I am definitely NOT an expert in every topic. I'm not a doctor, or an astronomer, or a lot of other things. I'll try not to write anything that's outright wrong, but I won't always be perfect. I will be exercising creative license at times. Furthermore, I am a Canadian, and as such Americanisms are bound to slip into my HP stories. Apologies in advance. |
