Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.
Pairings I like:
This pairing while generally being fun too read also tends to give the best balance too Harry's more serious side, since as we know Tonks can't be serious for too long.
Luna's character is too put it simply, quite odd. But that's what I love about this pairing because like with Tonks she gives Harry an opposing personality too play off of, and generally makes for a funny story too boot.
Like with the first two mentioned above it is all about balance. Though when talking about the first two I mentioned their zest for life and fun, but with Bella what generally draws me in is her connection too the darker side of magic. I enjoy stories where Harry gets retribution against anyone who had wronged him in anyway. Though that's not too say that I don't also enjoy the stories where Harry helps reform Bellatrix into a more upstanding member of the magical community.
Harry/Blaise (female) :
Not too much too say here that really hasn't been covered above, other than when done properly it is one of the better stories out there. I am not exactly sure why that is but I guess it would have something too do with there not being any preconceived notions as too how she is supposed too act or think so it gives the author more freedom when building her character.
Pairings I can tolerate:
Harry/Hermione (when done properly):
The only way I can stand this pairing is if she isn't trying too control everything that Harry does. I realize that, that is a major part of her character in the books (after all she is a control freak in the book. But when I read a story like that, where she is trying to control everything, it just makes me want too cringe, more so if it is a story where Dumbledore has controlled everything about Harry's life only too have Harry slip the leash. But to then make Harry change one master for another just doesn't sit well with me.
Pairings I can't stand:
I have nothing against the Gay or Lesbian communities, I just am not a fan of reading stories where the main characters suddenly decide that they are gay and must go around screwing their long time rivals (or in other words Snape and Draco). Because personally I just can't see it, I mean if I had someone who treated me like shit for five or six years, I am going too want blood from that person not a relationship. It makes it even worse when Harry for instance is paired with Voldemort, because just how the hell does one go from fending for your life every waking moment too being in bed with the person who not only killed your parents but has done nothing but kill off people close too you and made attempts on your very life since the moment you were born??? Just can't see it happening. So I am sorry while as I said I have nothing against the Gay or Lesbian communities I just am not a fan of this type of story.
Harry/Hermione (when done wrong):
When she is a control freak it just ruins the whole story, personally I couldn't stand too have someone standing around constantly telling me what too do and when too do it so I can't see anyone else wanting that either. I am sure that there are some people out there who think this is perfectly normal and if so, then more power too you, but for me it just gets on my nerves and quick.
I actually used too like this story type a long time ago. But I guess I have come too the realization that, after reading many great stories based on this relationship, there really isn't much reason for them too be together. I tend too see her more as the type too try and get at his money and fame than honestly loving him, though I guess I have more than likely read one too many evil-Ginny stories. That's not too say I don't like the character I just would rather see her with someone who would balance out her personality better, like Draco. I can't see her with someone like Neville either mainly because the poor guy already has someone controlling his life at home, why the hell would he want someone like that at school too? With Draco her controlling personality can be used, and quite effectively, too bring about a change with him from being an evil git too being a human being.
