Author has written 8 stories for Power Rangers, Final Fantasy I-VI, Suite Life series, Xena: Warrior Princess, and Robocop.

I had to say something about this because it is an even bigger threat than the recent laws proposed to attack internet free speech. Under the Health Care bill the federal government has recently said that by 2013 all but, in effect, the very smallest pure faith organizations (an exception which naturally does not include Catholic universities, schools and hospitals) must pay for contraceptives and morning after abortion pills as part of the health care they offer their employees. This is completely contrary to Catholic teaching and at the least results in excommunication.

Essentially, then, Obama is basically commanding the Catholic church to bow before him instead of before God.

Many, hopefully most, observant Catholics will not bow to this monstrous assault on our 1st Amendment protected religious freedoms, no matter what is done to us by the federal government in way of retaliation.

This is certainly very embarassing. All of this time I had no idea that the stars I put in as POV breaks for "The Icarus Reversal" from Chapter 2 on were automatically deleted by's formatting. My deepest and sincerest apologies to everyone who tried to read the story before now. Having at last become aware of the problem, I have re-uploaded copies of all the chapters with POV symbols that will recognize. On the off-chance anyone put off by the formatting should read this, I encourage you to give the story another try.

Fortunately there is no such problem with my second story, "The True King", if only because it stays in the POV of the same character for the entire length of the tale. "The True King" is the study of a single character and the filling in of the blanks left by his appearance in the "Final Fantasy" game. "The Icarus Reversal", on the other hand, is a fairly dark epic that looks closely at a number of characters, all of whom are trapped in the same adversarial situation, similar to that of "Battle Royale". Both involve long glimpses of the minds and emotions of those involved, and I hope serve as enjoyable reads.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I was lost!"
That is why I chose this way."

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.

This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't.

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it?

Repost this if you truly believe in God
