My name is Kailey.
I'm a 21 year old college student in West Michigan.
My major is Baking and Pastry Arts, and I love it so much! It's amazing to go into a class and come out having created something that's beautiful and delicious. I have two jobs and I'm finishing up my last quarter at school and it's been incredibly busy. I have barely any time for homework, let alone writing. Hopefully I'll have time to write again soon!
I'm a very firm believer that everything happens for a reason; don't mistake that for fate, though. I don't believe that our lives are fated to happen a certain way. We make our own paths, write our own stories, ect.
I'll Save Myself is my first posted fanfic on here, but it is one of many that I have started through the years. I'll need your help to keep going; I have a nasty habit of losing patience with my stories and stopping randomly. It's a bad thing, and I need to overcome it! This story started flowing one night while I was watching V for Vendetta and I've been letting it just flow where it may when I work on it. It's telling me a story and I really would like to see how it works itself out.
I haven't been very inspired to write lately especially with everything going on, but I'm going to start watching (The Tudors) from the beginning and find my timeline and research in the next week and get this shit going!
If you want to read my story and you enjoy it or see any way to improve it, please leave a review! I could use all the criticism that you want to dole out.
Lady Christina O'Connor is my sister. She's amazing.
I have an enormous family and an amazing boyfriend of four years who takes up a lot of my time. Ok, so if I'm being completely honest with you I take up a lot of his time, but he loves me anyways. Sadly I haven't been able to spend much quality time with him what with my working two jobs and attending school full time, but we try to see each other often.
I mostly write when I'm at school because once my school work is done I have a lot of down time to fill. I figure I should keep my writing skills sharp and that writing is a better activity for me than watching TV all the time. I do that a lot too, though. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm a lazy bum, but I enjoy writing a lot. It's relaxing. It's been great for me to be sharing the beginnings of my first story with you. I hope that everyone, including myself, is happy with the outcome of it, whatever that may be.
I recently acquired 100,000 songs; that's right, there are five zeros after that one. The sheer volume of music I now own is nearly inconceivable to me; I have only been able to look through maybe a tenth of it so far. It blows my mind and I love it, because now I don't have to go searching on the internet to find my writing playlist. I promise to not allow it to distract me from writing anymore. I promise!!
See you in the story!
A lot of things make me smile, and I'm going to be obnoxious and list them all as I think of them, adding to the list as I see necessary. This list is going to be long, because there are quite a lot of things that make me smile... I apologize in advance. Here goes nothing!
