WOW. Fell out of all my fandoms for a while. Blame Korean pop music and the gorgeous men who make it.
Anyway, haven't written anything in forever, but I've started reading manga again, which led me to reading fanfiction again, which led me to wanting to write fanfiction again. True story. And, as per usual, I feel like revamping all my old chaptered stories. I still have a bunch of ideas saved up in various places, and have a mind to find those and hop to.
So basically, my status is: writing here and there, re-writing everywhere, and generally being a jerk to people who actually like her writing by not doing more of it.
People Change is way outdated, but as I am clearly psychic, I waited until the plot aligned to serve me once more, except not really. But now I really feel good about fixing things (for the last time, I promise) while making everything all relevant to the timeline, more or less, hopefully, etc. etc. ad infinitum.
Alpha Male will also be getting a face lift, as well as minor plot rearrangements. My inner muse is very particular and always dissatisfied with what it finds in older work of mine. This may be a sign that I should just finish things rather than writing half of them, then leaving them to find and be disappointed in later. Hmm.
Numerous one-shot ideas for various fandoms are still percolating. That one other chaptered story I started and haven't updated on (that Bleach one, you know) is also percolating because the bits that didn't go into Chapter 1 (i.e. the bits for Chapters 2 and up) have yet to come together in the way I want them to. COOL STORY, BRO, except not because the stories are being stubborn.
My advice still remains: EXPECT NOTHING. That way, if there's a change, you'll be surprised! And if not, then you won't be disappointed, because you wouldn't have been expecting anything.

I'm a lady of varying tastes. I'm hardly picky about anything, adept at procrastination, and am currently rather infatuated with the third Star Ocean game (always a sucker for Squeenix and all their obvious gay subtext).
I think I make a subconscious effort to neglect my own writing. And this, children, is because I am a meanie head.
But hey, at least I'm honest.
