![]() Author has written 7 stories for Kim Possible, Valkyrie Profile, and Mass Effect. As far back as i can remember, I've always been a sucker for an anti-hero, or villain story in general. Not that I can fault traditions, but it always seems like its always the same predictable good guy, versus the the bad guy, who always seems to have the advantage because he can fight dirty. In essence, at least to me, the bad guys always seem to have the edge, because they don't need to follow the rules. I like to think that Clint Eastwood said it best, in the movie Gran Turino "Ever notice how you come across somebody, once in a while, that... you shouldn't have fucked with... That's me..." And that is exactly what i love, that moment, when somebody realizes that they may have come across somebody that worse than themselves. That's why i like characters like Hrist Valkyrie, and Shego. I interpret them as... reformed, i guess is the best way to put it. They go forth, and aspire for a better cause, even in defiance of the people that may hate them. And of course, someone will come along, and view them as the prey, simply because of the rolls that they play, but that doesn't mean that they can't remember how to be a predator. But don't get me wrong, everybody loves a hero. They're courageous, and often, are the last thing standing in the way of certain doom. Every story needs em'. But... Sometimes the best one suited for the job, is the one who knows what it's like to be in that role. Even if nobody else wants them. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read the mindless babbling of a Stand Alone Battle A.I. 7/5/11 Not dead! I'm sorry I haven't updated in forever, but i swear that I'm working on chapter 6 to Full Circle. I'll update as soon as possible! |
