Author has written 25 stories for Suikoden, Card Captor Sakura, Yu-Gi-Oh, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Elena of Avalor.
I teach gifted high school science when I'm not writing fanfic, cosplaying, or watching anime, sci fi, or reading. I've been writing fan fiction for a very long time, even before I was using the internet. I've written stories for the following fandoms: Stargate: SG1, X-files/LGM, Yu-Gi-Oh, Suikoden (mostly III and Tactics), Cardcaptor Sakura, Dragon Age, and others that I can't remember right now. Unfortunately, I have no clue where a great deal of my earlier works are.
I enjoy reading reviews of my work as well as reading the work of others. I think I'm one of the rare few that really don't mind inserted characters and AU stories, as long as they make sense. I mean, seriously, any world is made up of more than just a handful of individuals... It's a hobby afterall, and if people are so serious that they don't have fun with it, then why are they doing it?
My only request with reviews is to please make them constructive. While I appreciate positive reviews, constructive critisism will always win, even if it is negative.
Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the reads as much as I've enjoyed writing them.
Currently I have several in progress stories that span a variety of universes (universi?): Suikoden (III especially), Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Mass Effect. I know I am late to the ME bandwagon, but there have been lots of things keeping me from playing the games (kids, work, Skyrim). Of course, since I am a HUGE Bioware fangirl from WAY back, I was quickly obsessed with the ME universe, and as such, it is the current source of my inspiration. And what an inspiration it is!
I'm also a member of the 501st and Rebel Legions costuming groups, as well as a Captain America Dancing Girl costumer and a member of The D20Girls Project. My fan page is at facebook.com/CLCosplay. I also post info about stories, games and just awesome things I find around the interwebs. A lot of stuff there right now is related to Mass Effect.
I am trying to not fall into the trap that I have found keeps me from finishing my longer stories by publishing every day or two, but I keep getting distracted by other story ideas that want some of my limited time...
Headcanon order for my Shepard (who's name is Mira, which I totally didn't realize was also the name of the VI on Noveria when I named her.)
Humble Beginnings: A start to my Shepard's story. Introducing her family and events that helped shape her personality.
(and I skipped ME1 for now, though I will probably go back to it after I re-play it)
Walk Away: immediately post Horizon.
Of Laserguns and Lipstick: A little further past Horizon, perhaps shortly before going through the Omega-4 Relay (with a bit of a choose your own ending possibly)
A Promise: After effects of the ME2 romance with Garrus
A Memory and A Promise: ME3 but relating back to Humble Beginnings, Kaidan finds out one of Shepard's secret indulgences, and helps her with a not so secret indulgence...
Beyond All Odds: Post ME3 Destroy ending. (I had to put this down because I was pregnant at the time and about to do some horrible things to another pregnant woman. I don't know when I will pick it back up.)
And while I still enjoy me some Mass Effect, Suikoden and all that other stuff, I am currently obsessed with Elena of Avalor. What can I say, it comes from having small kids. I wrote a series of short stories for EoA as my NaNoWriMo effort this year (a couple of years ago I finished part 1 of Ten Thousand Roads during NaNo, but have yet to edit and upload it...) and am in the process of adding to it and fleshing it out into perhaps a novel, I'm not sure. I might just post it as several shorter efforts as I go, starting with A Light in the Darkness.
As for Elena, I know that we will never see a romantic interest set into cannon on the show because it's designed to focus on her adventures and growth into a queen. So even though she's surrounded by potential (and all equally valid) interests, nothing will ever be confirmed. Because of this, I'm exploring a little bit with Elena, as I am conceiving of her as a polyamorous bisexual. What this means is I get to play with ALL THE SHIPS! Which is a kind of fun place to be. (though in all honesty, if I were to suspect even a hint of a romantic interest, it would be with Mateo...)
And not to get too complicated or anything, my son has rekindled my love of Yu-Gi-Oh! thanks to his incessant desire to play the game. (When is it time to duel? ALL THE TIME!!!) So I've been re-watching the series, and the abridged series (LOVE) and doing so has sparked my interest in picking up Echoes of Time again. So I am re-working the story a great deal and hopefully finishing it as my CampNaNoWriMo project this summer.
