Author has written 2 stories for Inuyasha, and Harry Potter.
If you’re reading my bio page it’s likely that you first stumbled onto one of my two stories.
The Inuyasha fic has an interesting concept (though I say it myself), but I wrote it in when I was in college and newly introduced to the sci-fi, fantasy and anime genres. Previously I wasn’t a big TV/movie watcher, and I read only mysteries or books written prior to 1900. Thankfully my friends recognized that I possessed an inner geek that was just waiting to be unleashed on a world where it could devour things like Firefly, LOTR, McCaffrey, BSG, Sookie Stackhouse and Guild Wars 2. A couple of years ago I wrote a letter to Santa for the first time in twenty years, proclaiming that I had been good all my life and surely he could see fit to deliver a gift-wrapped Felica Day under my Christmas tree.
No such luck.
I tell you this hoping that it will help explain why my Kagome is terminal Marysue, and my poor Sesshoumaru forced to like her against his will and character simply because it was what I desired with every fiber of my newbie fangirl heart. In the rush of my fandom discovery I had thrown restraint and commen sense to wind, determined to give my characters EVERYTING that I could conceivably justify (at least to myself). They deserved that didn’t they?
Anyway, I leave them here because they’re rather like the little elementary school art projects my mother keeps on her vanity; colorful though lacking in form, and they remind me of how cute I was back then. I think about finishing the Inu-fic occasionally, but then I realize I haven’t finished my quarterly finance reports and I’ve already used up my goof-off writing time in other projects. S’life I guess. If nothing else, I hope my favorites list points to you something better worth your time.
And, as always, thanks for reading.
