Ahh, Fanfiction.net. What fond memories I have of thee. Let us look back...
You were the first website I ever got attached to, way back in 2001 when I was first discovering the internet.
You encouraged me to write and thoroughly enjoy writing.
You helped me to overcome obstacles regarding my personal acceptance of my sexuality.
You helped me meet a love of my life--someone who's fateful review I can still view and remember today. You started a relationship that was to last over 1/4th of my entire life--someone for whom I was to save money, whom I was to immigrate to a different country for, whom I was to marry...
And now, , you remain here, a testament to the past, present, and future as I struggle to regain a normal life back in my birth country, divorced and nearly finished with my first year of college.
It has been bittersweet.
I'm leaving my older stories here, but am going to upload newer work onto the username Miniji. Past memories should be held close and cherished, but I wish to start over on the proverbial "clean slate." I apologize to whomever may still be holding out for an update on stories I wrote ages ago...I wish that I could have finished them for you, but I am a different person than I was all those years ago, and to touch up on such things after so long would be like messing with ancient histories that I have no desire to change. And so...
~~ The rest is silence. ~~
--Okay, here goes... I probably wont ever update any of my Sailor Moon/Gundam Wing fics again. There's a small chance that I will, but since I haven't watched either of those shows in ages and my het romance muse has taken a dive into the black hole of eternal doom, I most likely wont. In the meantime, my Harry Potter muse is slowly reviving itself I'm taking "Sirius' 7th Year" down for renovation...it should be up as a new story (under a new name-which I'll list here when I update it) shortly. Also, I'm trying to write more on "The Fate of the Chocobo Eater," but it's going slowly. My yaoi romance muse is faring just about as well as my het romance muse...only it has been blasted to fragments instead of dropped into an eternal pit of doom '' I went through some nasty anti-romance depression moments last month, and I'm slowly piecing together my yaoi muse along with myself. So, there ya have it...my Harry Potter muse is reviving, and I'll probably need all the help I can get to revive my other muses. Miniji@ is my email, should you feel like giving some help _~ But put something involving fanfiction or story titles (etc.) in the email title, because otherwize I'll probably delete it by mistake has been getting way too much junk mail lately to sift through her emails carefully '' heh... ~Sailor Miniji June 25, 2003
