Author has written 26 stories for Lois and Clark, Blakes 7, Beauty and the Beast, 2012, Arrow, and Warm Bodies, Isaac Marion.
It's been great writing and reading on here. Thanks to everyone who's ever reviewed or added me to a favorites list, because you gave me the motivation to take it to the next level. I wrote an awesome novel and it's available now...
The title is WHISPERS IN THE DARK. "She's a preschool teacher. He's kind of a zombie. It would never work..."

This book is self-published, which is kind of like posting fanfic except not really.
A few of you will find some of it familiar, because it has similarities to a certain fanfic I wrote, but I changed a lot, and the fanfic was a departure from the source to begin with. The novel has much higher quality, I promise.

Fandoms/obsessions in reverse chronological order:
Warm Bodies. Sweetest, funniest zombie movie ever. A story of redemption, wrapped in a romance, seasoned with comedy. With a tiny bit of gore for contrast. Julie is sassy and full of life, R is (technically) dead but still adorable. Beauty & the Beast meets Romeo & Juliet, done with deadpan humor. Happy ending, hooray! This is my all-time favorite movie *EVER*.
Arrow. Okay, actually, I'm a big fan of Felicity Smoak - funny, smart, and a full partner on the superhero team. John Diggle is also awesome. Oliver Queen is often an idiot, but he means well, and wants to use his unique skills to improve his city. Tortured hero is tortured. TV show means no happy ending, but that's what fanfic is for. OTP: Olicity
Beauty & the Beast (2012). Kinda sorta a remake of the 1980s series, but with different mythology. Catherine Chandler is a detective for the NYPD. Vincent Keller is a veteran who used to be a doctor, before he was forced to "die" and live in hiding (with awesome friend JT). Vincent feels obligated to use his genetically-enhanced powers to help others, which is how Catherine meets him (he saves her life). And -- crucially -- this Vincent is smokin' hot. Yowza. OTP: VinCat
Lois & Clark (new adventures of Superman). Based on the post-crisis characters - Clark Kent is a guy who just wants a job, a girl, a normal life - but still feels obligated to use his superpowers to help people (hmm, I'm sensing a theme here). Also, he's super-hot. Solution? Secret identity! Which, unsurprisingly, leads to a lot of other problems. I wasn't all that interested until Lois started getting over Superman and falling for Clark, instead (good choice, girl!), and then found out she didn't have to choose after all. Lois in on the secret is much more fun. I made a few music vids for this, years and years ago. I spent fifteen years with this fandom. Good times, good times.
Other interests - the Avengers, Castle, anything with Nicholas Hoult in it... Married to a guy who keeps up with all sorts of super-hero shows/movies, some of which I like (okay, yeah, he's the one who introduced me to L&C, BatB, and Arrow).
I try to review a lot, but only if I have something good to say. I am not a Grammar Nazi but I've been writing for a long time and some things aggravate me, so I might say something mildly critical, or send a PM with a longer critique. I'm not flaming, honest, just trying to help writers who already have talent to sharpen their skills because those are two different things, and skills can be learned. That's how I learned, after all.
