When Jake got back from undercover, Amy had been distant to say the least. She didn't know what to do so she took a step back. So when Jake pushed her away when she tried to help him, she understood. And she knew she had to try to make it right. She knew she didn't deserve him, but that didn't change how she felt. The least she could do was hold him in the haven of her arms.

Amy knew she couldn't panic just because she was trapped in an elevator for an indefinite amount of time, and luckily her partner is there to help her get through it (get together one shot). If there was a 3rd genre option allowed it would be humor, so this isn't too heavy.
