Stuff about me: When not watching Stargate SG-1, writing about Stargate, or reading Stargate fics (sense a theme here?), I earn my living in the Real World as a bookseller. Not married, no kids, and no pets (though I am the proud owner of a spectacular, gorgeous red beast named Jack, AKA a 2007 Dodge Nitro SLT). Stargate is my latest ficdom, but certainly not the only one. I've previously written fics for the various Star Trek series, as well as JAG. (Yeah, interesting combo there.) After much poking, prodding, and virtual thwaps from my beta reader and partner in crime, I'm finally offering my SG fics for public consumption.

Stuff about my fics: I am a diehard, rabid Jack/Sam shipper. If the idea of these two paired romantically turns your stomach, you have been warned. Now, if you're still with me, here's a few things to know. One - I will never post a story until it's complete. Incomplete stories that drag on for eternity drive me crazy. So if it's here, it's done. Period. Two - I figure the characters go through enough crap on screen, so as a rule, I don't whump on them, torture them, or otherwise fold, spindle, or mutilate them. They have plenty of issues to mine for fics without me adding more. Three - I'm a rather sarcastic wench, and no shrinking violet. If you hate a fic, fine. If you love it, great. Want to leave a review? Awesome. Prefer to be a silent reader? Spiffy. Never, ever will I beg for reviews, or hold stories hostage until the readers leave offerings at the altar of my ego. Nothing makes me madder than reading a fic and, at the end, the author demands reviews or the next part won't be posted. Sheesh. This is supposed to be for fun, so, if you're an author who does this, get over yourself. (I'm also fond of the soapbox. I have my own deluxe model.)

Addendum 6/7/06: Just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful reviews. After a couple of very long evenings at work, coming home to an inbox full of so many wonderful comments really gave my spirits a boost. :)

Addendum 6/8/06: No, I really don't write this quickly. I've got a backlog of completed stories sitting on my hard drive, and I'm trying to get them posted as time permits. Considering my bad habit of never leaving work on time, we'll see how efficient I can be. :)
