Putting together facts and lies, hearsay and truth in Anne's House of Dreams, I have pieced together Leslie's story and discovered this is a love story about how to love yourself.

"And the knowledge had come too late – too late even for the bitter solace of being with him at the last. If she had not been so blind – so foolish – she would have had the right to go to him now..." In this story Anne Shirley DOES go to Gilbert, and neither the storm, nor Mrs Blythe, or even Rachel Lynde dares to get in her way.

In the deep midwinter Anne and Gilbert made an oath to each other, by the following summer they will break all the rules. This is a SEQUEL TO ANOTHERLEA which continues the story from Gilbert's point of view.

"Two months of Green Gables and dew-wet, spicy ferns ankle-deep along the brook and lazy, dappling shadows in Lover's Lane and wild strawberries in Mr. Bell's pasture and the dark loveliness of firs in the Haunted Wood!" Anne and Gilbert's first summer as an engaged couple merits only a sentence in AoWP (ch.17). Here's how those two unrecorded months may have panned out.

After the death of Marilla, a broken Anne finds herself as the teacher at Four Winds, needing a new beginning. Gilbert has been the town's doctor since the death of his uncle, and finds himself now confronting his past and an Anne barely recognisable as the girl he once loved. Old feelings begin to resurface and the two of them must unravel the grief of the past to start again.

This story begins at the final chapter of Anne of Avonlea and follows Gilbert's point of view through to the end of Anne of the Island. From those hopeful first two years at Redmond, Gilbert's heartbreak when Anne refuses him, his determination to win the Cooper Prize, his joy at finally winning Anne's love and the first blissful week of their engagement.

This is something I never thought I'd write. Set in Anne's House of Dreams, it's about what might have happened if Anne had died and Joy had lived. One Shot.

When Tomorrow Comes is the sequel to my AU, One More Day With You. It follows Anne and Gilbert after their engagement, until the summer after the two of them graduate. With prizes yet to be won and dreams to explore, Anne and Gilbert work together to prepare for whatever awaits them around the next bend in the road.

AU. It's the night of the Convocation Ball. Gilbert Blythe is about to ask Anne Shirley for a dance, and this time Anne is not saying no...

L.M. Montgomery left much of Anne and Gilbert's relationship through all of the books to the imagination, with tantalizing little lines here and there. These stories will add some color to the empty spaces.

Anne and Gilbert's engagement with a twist: instead of teaching in Summerside, Anne follows Gil to Kingsport. What will their three-year engagement be like? How do they deal with their increasing longing and desire for each other, when they are away from Avonlea and left to make their own decisions?
