Author has written 24 stories for Harry Potter, and Incredible Hulk. I've been a Harry Potter fan since late 2004, and started writing fan fiction at the beginning of 2006. Many of my stories were started (and many completed) before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out, so they don't account for all the information from that novel, so please don't try to inform my of those type of errors as I prefer to leave my stories as is (No offence intended). My feeling on Harry Potter relationships is that either Harry/Ginny or Harry/Hermione would be good together, though I prefer Harry/Hermione, except that so many people who put those two together end up pairing Ginny with Draco, which I can't stand! I mean, his father gave her Riddle's diary, and he was in full support of what was going on. Just because he had a few seconds as a human being in HBP and DH does not mean Ginny would fall in love with him! I believe that Draco deserved to go to prison at the end of DH for at least a few years. The only reason his family wasn't fully supporting Voldemort at the end of that book was because Voldemort was mistreating them. They still completely agreed with his philosophies (and by the way, Lucius did nothing that earned him anything less than life in prison). The Malfoy family simply proved that they care more about themselves than Voldemort. Whatever else Ginny may be (and I don't mind her being portrayed as an airhead - I find it quite humorous) she is generally against Tom Riddle and his followers. My favorite H/Hr stories on this site are listed in my C2. My absolute favorite H/Hr author is chem prof. As far as Ron goes, I don't care what happens to him. He was a jerk in PS when he insulted Hermione and had to be practically dragged by Harry to help her against a troll. He was a jerk in PoA toward Hermione regarding the Firebolt and Scabbers''s disappearance. He was a jerk in GoF toward Harry when his name came out of the goblet, and toward Hermione at the Yule Ball. He was a jerk toward both Hermione and Lavender (using her) in HBP. He was an even bigger jerk in DH when he abandoned his friends. Usually he's just comic relief. His only useful functions have been playing the huge chess game in first year and introducing Harry to his family. All that's going on in his head are Quidditch and chess, and that does not make him a brilliant strategist as so many people seem to think he is. His only true talents are playing chess, making Hermione cry, and abandoning Harry when he needs friends the most. For some reason, JKR completely glosses over the fact that Draco Malfoy completely got away with using an unforgivable curse. Remember that Draco was so experienced at the Imperius Curse that he was able to Imperius Rosemerta into Imperiusing Katie Bell. That means he probably spent the whole summer practicing the curse - probably on muggle girls. There's no way he could've been that good at the curse on his first try. It was not Dumbledore's right to decide Malfoy didn't have to pay for his crimes. He didn't ask Rosemerta if she minded Draco not being punished for Imperiusing her (and probably raping her whenever he left the castle - she was known to be beautiful). Dumbledore didn't ask Katie Bell if she minded Draco not being punished for nearly killing her. Dumbledore didn't ask Ron if he minded Draco not being punished for nearly killing him. Then again, I'm sure Dumbledore didn't ask Snape's victims questions like that, either. My main point is that Dumbledore had promised the wizarding world that Hogwarts would be safe during HBP, but he was purposely letting a lawbreaker run free on the odd chance that he'd develop a conscience, making Draco's life more important than Rosemerta's, Katie Bell's, Ron Weasley's, and every other student at Hogwarts' lives. Dumbledore was an accessory to every one of Draco's crimes in HBP by knowingly letting him - a marked Death Eater - come to Hogwarts at all. I've noticed in nearly every HP fanfic I've read that whenever a character who's not considered good-looking gets romantically involved with someone, it gets explained that they've actually gotten better looking. Apparently, most writers believe that only people who look like Greek gods and goddesses can find love. I think that sends the wrong message to readers. Other versions of my stories A Polish (the majority of my own ancestry) version of 'Harry McGonagall' is being posted on Wattpad by Anka1324. Michelle McGonagle is writing a sequel to my oneshot 'Minerva Gets the Prophecy' called 'McGonagle gets the prophesy.' I've never understood the cowardice of people who flame a story and don't have the guts to sign in when they do it. What I do when I start reading a story I don't like is stop reading it, without leaving a review, and looking for a story I do enjoy. In regards to reviewing, I follow the rule: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. In my opinion, fanfic authors should not be held to the same standard as professional authors. So my request to readers is to not be insulting in your reviews for my stories or anybody else's stories. Nobody is forcing you to read them, and you didn't have to pay for the privilege. I'd like to thank holla for the picture for my story, 'Harry McGonagall.' |
