My name is Ryota Illa. I used to be evil, but I got better.
What my age, gender and location are is irrelevant. I fail to see how such knowledge would alter my writing or standing.
What IS relevant is my past experience with fanfiction. I have a lot of it. I read far too much in my opinion. Then again, I would not be nearly as proficient in writing as I am had I not.
Why do I write? Many reasons. The biggest being because without books being written to be read I would have gone insane from long, sleepless nights. I hope to one day help someone with my words too.
When the darkness is rising,
when all hope disappears,
everything is righted
when Ryota interferes.
When the villains are destroyed,
when the heroes let loose cheers,
all is turned to chaos
when Ryota interferes.
You know what I hate? People who justify pairings by saying "opposites attract". I don't know about anyone else, but I would rather be with someone who was actually LIKE me, not someone with a conflicting personality. A real "laughs a lot, funny guy" would not like to get into a relationship with "serious, stern girl", just as she would not tolerate someone who was never serious. However, that is not to say that two people with different personalities can not fall in love. I personally am attracted to women who are more down to earth than I am. There is a woman I am attracted to who is very down to earth, and keeps herself in the realms of reality, while I myself am a very crazy, fantasy driven man. But there are many traits and quirks that we share, and many similar things that we like and do. Our personalities are not opposed, just different. If our personalities WERE opposed, I would not get along with her very well.
Quite a few of my favorite pairings are bashed for many reasons, such as Tidus/Rikku, from Final Fantasy X, but the one constant complaint that people give, no matter what, is that "They are too similar. They don't work as a pairing". I can seriously not comprehend the logic. They are similar, so love can't form? Who started that idea? Any relationship I've been in, romantic or not, has bloomed from similarity. I REFUSE to bring in PHYSICS when speaking of LOVE.
