Author has written 4 stories for Lost, and Criminal Minds.
Age: Old enough to know better
Stories: Four so far.
Fandoms: I like writing Lost, used to like HP, but am over it now.
Reading: I like reading Lost fics, SVU, Third Watch, and Sentinel
In Progress: Two Lost fics in progress, one is a rescue fic, the other is a day-by-day on the island type of thing.
Other stuff: I'll admit it - I'm not a shipper. Of anyone, in any fandom. Don't get me wrong - I don't mind reading the occasional Jack/Kate fic, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I ever write one. I'm also unlikely to write a Sawyer/Kate, Charlie/Claire, Locke/Claire, Michael/Sun, Hurley/Libby, Jack/Ana, Sawyer/Ana, Shannon/Boone, Shannon/Sayid,or even Sun/Jin. Why? Well, no offence to those who read/write them (including, you know, the shows' creators), but they've just been done so many times, I find it hard to drum up any interest in them. I prefer friendship stories, the more unusual the better - in other words, I'm much more likely to write a Shannon/Jin friendship piece than to subject people to yet another Charlie/Claire/peanutbutter/amnesia thing.
I'm also not a big fan of multi-chaptered fics - I find it hard to stay interested enough to sit through 36 chapters when the crux of the story can be told in one or two. Having said that, an interesting plotline, or even pointless but well-written fluff can be entertaining in a longer story, and I've got several in my favourites list. Length really doesn't bother me as much as lack of originality - so I guess what I'm saying is you're unlikely to see an epic fic with my name on it, but if you do, it's got more chance of being 12 chapters of Sayid playing with Vincent than Sawyer professing his love for Kate.
