I'm not much of a writer, just a big reader. :)
My favorite pass-time is reading fanfiction all day long! I love reading new stories and giving essay-length reviews. Although I'm absolutely not adverse to rereading old favorites.
I generally give positive reviews. If your story didn't leave that big of an impression on me, I may not review, or I may give a one-liner. I reserve my essays for the most intriguing stories. Since I've been reading and reviewing for so long, if you ever get a negative review from me, you know there's something seriously off about your story.
Although, do note that I often give critique, which I do not consider a bad thing! If I point out mistakes you make or try to suggest how to change or improve your writing, take this as a helpful, constructive criticism; it's not bashing! I often hear people complaining that they are not getting any true feedback of substance or critique that pays close attention to detail. I often appreciate the help and critique I get on my work from more advanced people, whether it be on art work, school work, or writing.
Who is this mysterious person reviewing your work?
I'm a 21 year old girl (woman? Should I call myself that now?) from the east coast of the U.S. I'm currently in college.
I've been reading on FF.net since 2002, but didn't join until a few years later. The first fanfic I ever read was about Harry Potter.
I would love to learn to write well someday in the future, but don't expect me to start whipping out stories any time soon.
