Snow Queen. There is a tradition in the kingdom that once a year, in the fall before a great feast, exiles and criminals can return home without fear of arrest. When the Black Knights capture Red just before the festival Snow has to trust in the word of the Evil Queen to plead for her friend's life. But what does the Evil Queen want... and what does Snow?

Henry begs, and Regina caves. But all it takes is one act of misplaced faith, and the residents of Storybrooke find themselves facing true Evil. And this time the Savior isn't there to rescue them.

Ten years ago, Regina was kidnapped by the Home Office, and put through three years of torture. When she finally returns home, she's been dramatically changed - both mentally and physically. Lost in Neverland and looking for Henry, Regina unexpectedly stumbles across love only to lose it and find friendship in the most unlikely of people.

Post-midseason finale, one year later. An amnesiac Henry returns to his grandparents' castle in the Enchanted Forest, where he quickly grows fascinated with the mysterious sorceress who's training his mother in magic– and who's the one person in the castle he's forbidden to ever meet.

Wanting to prove that Regina has always been evil Henry uses magic to go back in time. His plans change though when he learns he was wrong about his mom. Now knowing that if she doesn't become the Evil Queen the curse will never be cast & he will never be born leaves him with a choice, his life or Regina's happiness. For him the choice is simple but is he prepared for the results?

Post S2 finale. In the aftermath of saving Storybrooke together, Regina and Emma come together to rescue Henry, and perhaps each other, but they can't do it alone. They're going to need help along the way, and maybe just a little bit of hope, faith and trust. Pre-SQ . Involves the entire group on the Jolly Roger and the relationships and histories represented there.

Henry doesn't believe in heroes and villains anymore. Looking at his mismatched family of werewolves, he knows too well the power of perception. AU Post 2x10 "The Cricket Game". Swan Queen. Snowing.

In light of the new Snow Queen scenes of the past couple episodes, here is a little exploration into what could (should?) have gone down after the rescue at the warehouse in 2x21, "Second Star to the Right". A multi-chapter one-shot, if you will. Please note: I do not own the concept, plot, characters, or any other aspect of the show Once Upon a Time, and make no profit from this.

There was nothing false about the statement that Regina did not need Emma and Henry anymore. But that did not mean she didn't still love them. But how? How do you love people that love you just as much, but fail everywhere else on accounts of trust, responsibility, and understanding? She's trying to change... to be a better mother but when she's accused of murder, everyone points to her. Why wouldn't they? She's the Evil Queen. In order to get Henry back she must prove her innocence no matter how dangerous it gets. Takes place after The Cricket Game 2x10 and goes into an alternate universe.

Post 2x10. There is nothing left for Regina in Storybrooke.

When Regina returns home from Gold's shop after the return of Emma and Snow, she finds Henry waiting for her. But not the Henry she knows, a Henry seventeen years old, from the future. As Cora and Hook arrive in Storybrooke, Emma, Regina, and their allies must join with this familiar time traveler if their to survive the dark battles he knows are just on the horizon.

After saving Regina from killing herself, Cora finds that "picking up the pieces" is a lot harder than she thought. Sequel to Broken Crowns. Slight AU as of The Cricket Game. TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE.

Because sometimes, one ally, however small, is all you need. Post ep 2x10, some spoilers, no longer a oneshot - there's more Regina, less Henry, with perhaps a hint of SQ-ish-ness thrown in for good measure. I'll get this summary right eventually...

Regina puts her life on the line to rescue Snow and Emma from the old world (and Cora), but due to the lengths she'll go, she'll need the Savior to save her as well. Non-romantic friendship SQ.

My very own season 2. Magic has returned to Storybrooke, and Regina seizes her opportunity for revenge. But plans go awry as an unexpected enemy surfaces, leaving the townspeople reeling in the wake of a tragic loss. No Swan Queen, but lots of good Emma/Regina, Regina/Henry and Emma/Henry moments to come. Plenty of Snow/Charming/Emma as well.
