Author has written 16 stories for Doctor Who, Robin Hood BBC, Merlin, and Supernatural.
I have a youtube account and I have recently set one up at vimeo because youtube seems to hate me :(
Anyway, some of my videos are relevant to my fanfictions and they're about the fandoms I write about so I'm gonna put up the links here.
So I have put the link for my livejournal page on here. I have to explain, I SUCK at using livejournal - really and truly I am completely lame at it. However, I have posted some artwork on there linking to a Supernatural/Dark Angel crossover apocalyptic epic style fic that I have been thinking about. This fic will also feature my OC Grace from There But For Grace as well as some others that I'm making up.
If anyone wants to go have a look before I start posting that story here (I've only written one chapter so far, so it may be some time) then by all means go ahead and tell me what you think.
This is the link as well:
I should probably delete all the below and write it again so it makes sense to what is going on now, but -- I don't want to. Let's pretend it's like a diary so it's like looking back or something, who knows.
Anyways - I am writing a story for Supernatural at the moment called There But For Grace. Been obsessed with that show and those boys since January when I should have been revising for my first set of uni exams, am all caught up to current series four episodes right now and am still loving it...
What else? Nothing Endures But Change and Different Flowers From The Same Garden are both on holiday at the moment. I haven't written anything for Doctor Who since David Tennant announced he was stepping down and don't know that I will again, he's my Doctor so... will be tricky to carry on. Merlin is now off the air and I find it difficult to write about a show when I'm not watching it a lot so, again, holiday times and who knows when it'll start up again. Many many apologies though - I know it is appalling for me to be doing this and very bad writing etiquette and everything - I should NOT get into this habit.
On the plus side, for people reading There But For Grace, I know pretty much exactly where that story is going up to where we currently are in Series Four so all is good with that. Am really worried what is going to happen with the boys in the end though - frankly, I don't think it's looking good. Also my avatar at the moment is how I imagine Grace to look - and she's asleep which works.
Anyway - any questions send me a message, I'm pretty good at replying quickly. Hope you like the stories you've read and if you aren't watching any of the shows I'm writing about go watch - they are immense! :)
HOT NEWS! (Well, vaguely)
I've been writing a story with Firebreathing Fishies about my OC Ella Marlowe and her's Ashley Chambers.
We're going to be posting it soon on a joint account haveabanana so look out for it!
It's called Summer of 64 and we had SO much fun writing it - hopefully it'll be fun to read!
I've actually made it to university now - and am doing English and Film - it's going ok... LOADS of reading and an irritating lecturer or two but lots of fun!
I've written for Pirates of the Caribbean (don't read it though cause it's the first thing I wrote and it's unfinished which kills me but I can't go back!), Doctor Who, Robin Hood and have just started a story for Merlin. (Now also writing for Supernatural...)
I have a bit of a fatal tendency to introduce my own female characters and I do try to curb it but it is sort of my "in" into the story and writing about it so I keep coming back to it... not sure there's anything I can do about it I'm afraid!
I particularly love getting reviews as people are so kind and seem to get my humour and what I'm trying to do - which is lovely!
Most of my Doctor Who stories feature my OC Ella Marlowe. This is the list in which they occur chronologically, I didn't write them in this order however and the more recent ones are of a higher standard, you'll probably be able to tell.
1) You Get One Chance To Make A First Impression
2) Helped By The Existence of That Goodness
3) A Companionable Diary
4) When Burnham Wood Comes Up To Dunsinane
5) The Firm Resolve of Virtue and Reason
6) Breathing Space
7) Here Comes the Bride, the Bridesmaids and the Doctor
9) Nothing Endures But Change
My other story "Understanding This Life" is part of it as well but it is a collection of oneshots so doesn't particularly fit in anywhere. You don't have to read it to understand the others but it offers a little more insight into Ella's life.
Because of my recent interest (not obsession...) with the new BBC show Merlin I started writing a story about it - Different Flowers From the Same Garden. I'm enjoying it and everything, but what is really exciting is that one of my reviewers, the lovely Padme4000 has made posters for it! I couldn't believe that she actually did, but I feel really honoured and she said I could put links to them up here. So:
These two are using Eva Green in her role as Serafina Pekkala in The Golden Compass as Jocelyn - that's the actress I would choose, though a bit younger of course.
And this one is using Liv Tyler as Arwen from Lord of the Rings - that's the actress that Padme4000 thought would make a good Jocelyn except younger again.
Hope the links work - if you have any problems, PM me and I'll try and help!
It's interesting (for me anyway) that we chose different people, and who we chose. Anyone else got any ideas?? I'd be interested to know!
I was inspired by Padme4000's posters and did a couple of pics myself, using both Liv Tyler and Eva Green. They are more like icons - one of them is my avatar for this. If anyone is interested to see more let me know!
Any questions please ask - I like to know what people think! xx
"Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heart beat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you're wearing sweatpants, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without make up on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'That's her'."
