Author has written 25 stories for Hakuōki/薄桜鬼, Fairy Tail, Amnesia/アムネシア, and Tokyo Ghoul/東京喰種トーキョーグール.
* As shocking as it is, I do not own Hakuouki or any of the characters from Hakuouki - but they're still fun to write about. *
*Sadly, I am not the owner of any of the Fairy Tail characters either.*
*I do own my own Hakuouki characters and those parts of my various stories that are based in my own bizarre imagination. Yes!*

Please feel free to find me on tumblr [...] also as impracticaldemon. All the Saito images do indicate a preference, but I try to post Hakuouki stuff for everyone plus other otome game stuff... Also currently watching Fairy Tail! Gray and Erza are my favourite characters so far, but I'm learning to appreciate everyone! Levy is an awesome character too, and I'm finding Gajeel and Levy together a lot of fun. And I rather like writing Jerza pieces too... (I'll stop now.)
ART CREDIT: A BIG THANK YOU to Kawaii-Ash from tumblr and also DeviantArt, who draws and colours most of my chibi avatars and cover art for Hakuouki for me!

General: Morpheus and I don't get along. We have a kind of respectful antagonism, each conceding the other's virtues while doing our best to win. I don't sleep much.
· I speak and read French fluently (and can write if necessary). I understand German, Spanish and Italian in a limited way.
· I wish I could speak/read/understand Japanese, but alas, so far I can only make out common expressions and phrases, sometimes just a bit more.
· The first story I took seriously helped get me my first "real" summer job. It was called "Among Thieves" and was very D&D. I still love Drizz't (but he wasn't in the story).
· The only story I completed during university was published and paid for by a US magazine. That was cool.
· I play PC games far more than console games. I'm a bit of a Steam junkie when I'm not writing.
· My games vary from visual novels to strategy/simulator/civilization-builders to RPGs like Skyrim and Dragon Age: Origins. Yes, I've been a Grey Warden.
· I've gone through a Zelda phase, a Lego game phase (Lego LotR was amazing), and a Fire Emblem phase. Always end up back on the PC.
· Discovering Hakuouki: Stories of the Shingsengumi (PS3) made me want to start writing again.
· Currently playing Norn 9 and Hakuouki Shinkai: Hana no Shou; just completed Code Realize: Genesis (PS Vita) and recently replayed Amnesia Memories (PS Vita & PC Steam)
Reading: I read almost anything, although there are limits. When in dire straits I will pick up whatever is lying around. This means I've read some pretty strange stuff.
MORE INFO ON GAMES, ANIME and BOOKS BELOW. In case you are actually interested.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my stories. I appreciate hearing from people and I always write back (if you have an account). Reviews are great!
* I also try to read other people's stories and leave them reviews. *
J'aimerais remercier tous/toutes qui prennent le temps de lire mes histoires et de me glisser un mot dans un review ou un message (PM). :)
POETRY EXCERPTS FOR THE SHINSENGUMI and others who have tried to change the world or followed lost causes...
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
- Dylan Thomas, Do not go gentle into that good night
Theirs not to make reply,
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
- Lord Alfred Tennyson, The Charge of the Light Brigade (part of 1st & 3rd verses - but most of it applies, honestly)
Defeat, my Defeat, my deathless courage,
- Khalil Gibran, Defeat
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
- Lord Alfred Tennyson, Ulysses
(mostly Anime/Japanese - otherwise too many to list)
Hakuouki: Stories of the Shinsengumi (PS3) - Awesome. One of the few console games I've played. Looking forward to Kyoto Winds (the new "remake with extras").
Amnesia: Memories (PC) - I really enjoyed this game even though the MC is non-existent and some of the storylines are just a little (lot) creepy.
Ozmafia! (PC) - Nice art and voice acting, lots of story. Recommended!
Zelda - Twilight Princess (Wii), Skyward Sword (Wii) (also Ocarina of Time because I was curious)
Rune Factory Frontier (Wii) - Again, curiosity won out and I was in a farm-building kind of mood. Good game.
Clannad (PC) - I've completed the game, but not watched the anime.
Code Realize: Genesis (PS Vita) - Excellent game, great story and I like the MC. Looking forward to the sequel being localized!
... a lot of computer games. Really. Paradox Games, for instance, make you want to tear your hair out, but then you keep coming back...
[just mentioning a couple here for now - too many for a list, so here are some favourites]
Terry Pratchett - some of the very best and most brilliant humour/fantasy/satire out there - no really, these are amazing books (Captain Vimes, Granny Weatherwax, DEATH...)
Julian May - because nobody else turned the Pleiocene into a slightly psychotic alien fairyland where mental powers rule everything (terrific sci-fi and fantasy, fascinating characters, love the way it picks up on legends/myths/fairytales)
The Dark is Rising Sequence - Susan Cooper - This is an outstanding series of "kids" books set mostly in Britain (in particular England/Cornwall and Wales). If you love Arthurian legends and various Celtic myths (and others), or you just want to read an excellent set of magic/adventure books, I recommend these. Note: movie/TV versions don't really do these justice; you have been warned.
The Wars of Light and Shadow - Janny Wurts - The first sequence is very good and I found the detailed world very entertaining (if you don't mind some real-life consequences and intelligent "bad guys") and quite gripping/moving in places. I was not fond of the first book in the second sequence, but the book that concludes the first sequence is really satisfying (think Gandalf et al actually unleashing their powers).
J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling - yes, of course. Also Jane Austen (Why wasn't I born Brtish with a "J" name?)
For a complete change of pace: The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas. I've read it unabridged (long!) but only in English (I think). Great story!
Also, if you like or love Jane Austen and want to read or write really *good* Regency romance fiction, you should read Georgette Heyer. Frederica is one of my favourites, but they're amazing books.
General: Fantasy/Sci-Fi (more fantasy than sci-fi); Mystery; Historical Fiction.
I prefer happy endings; angst in the middle is just fine, but there's got to be something to lift the heart at the end.
Hakuouki: everything from the anime that I can find online, which is pretty much all of it now. (But the game is my real love.)
Episodes from Rurouni Kenshin.
Donten ni Warau: I really enjoyed these, although I got confused in the middle and had to go back and figure things out again. 12 episodes
Hiiro no Kakera (Season 2 was better than 1; enjoyable if not profound)
Tokyo Ghoul (Season 1): Good story and cool art, but I had to close my eyes especially toward the end! (I'm a wimp about some stuff!)
Fairy Tail: I'm watching the first series right now and having lots of fun with it! Have even written my own fanfics too. :)
Inuyasha, Blue Exorcist, Kamigami no Asobi (I really wish I could play the game, too!), Bleach, FMAB are on my list as well. Oh, and Noragami.
Marvel (Avengers, X-Men, Thor - various versions of all) (Thor was my very favourite originally, what can I say, but that's partly because Loki is so cool)
DC (Justice League, Batman - to a point/certain versions, Martian Manhunter (JLA version especially), Teen Titans (cartoons and various spin-offs like Robin, Nightwing))
Animated Batman (various series/movies) with Kevin Conroy voice acting (and Mark Hamill as The Joker) - it's a bit old but the characters are so great.
