I am 30 years old and I live in Saudi Arabia.

I am a fan of the Pocket Monsters (Pokemon) anime, from OS up until BW!, although I enjoy some episodes of Sun & Moon and PM 2019/Journeys. I'm mainly a fan of the Team Rocket trio, some antagonistic rivals, and the heroines/main girls.

My favorite characters in the whole series would have to be Shootie/Trip, Iris, Lillie, Sakuragi Koharu/Chloe Cerise, the Subway Masters, Musashi (Jessie), and Kojiro (James).

I love Rocketshipping and Wishfulshipping best! I have a soft spot for Flarebustershipping and Vermillionshipping too. I blame my endless fascination with strong, opinionated, tomboyish girls and quiet or theatrical, dramatic, foppish boys on being tomboyish as a kid and loving Hanawa and Maruko (from Chibi Maruko-chan) in preschool.

No one believes I was a tomboy because I love frilly, pink and pastel things so much now, but it's true!! I played in the dirt and mud, went swimming every other week, had a perpetual tan, climbed trees, jumped to land in a crouch like Spider-Man... I just also loved bows, hated eating any biscuit that was broken (I was very spoiled as a child...), and couldn't bear to watch anything I found "ugly"--As Told by Ginger only won me over when I listened to it, enjoyed the story, and finally turned around to watch and realized, oh, it was that ugly show... really beautifully written, though!

I still don't like the bright, fuschia-like Barbie pink they douse the girl's toys aisle with, it gives me a headache. I only like pale pink and pastel shades.

Despite being a major shipper, I mainly write genfic. I am excessively fond of writing siblings and exploring their relationships. No, this does not mean I have any interest in incest, so people expecting ReiShin/Evashipping will probably be disappointed by my Tobari/Veilstone brothers stories. Likewise for the cat brothers, I only like their brotherly relationship.

I also enjoy: Osamu Tezuka's works (especially Black Jack), Haibane-Renmei, Kino's Journey, ERASED (Boku Dake ga Inai Machi), Detective Conan, Hunter x Hunter, Beautiful Soldier Sailor Moon, GOSICK, Angel Beats!, Maple Town, Palm Town, Demon Slayer... and many others.

Literature-wise, my absolute favourite fictional book is The Little Prince. I got my start on reading for fun when I read J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter! This is why my oldest fics use single quotes instead of double quotes for the dialogue, it's the British standard. I also enjoy the works of Jacqueline Wilson and Paulo Coelho. I also love Artemis Fowl (but only read two books, they never had the other books in the right order for me to buy, alas), Little Women, A Little Princess, The Dolls' House, What Katy Did... I am presently reading Howl's Moving Castle and attempting to read Pride & Prejudice.
