So... what sort of stories do you write?

Let me put it this way. When I was six, I re-wrote Robin Hood. In my version, Robin Hood gets caught and thrown in a dungeon. This was not because I wanted Robin caught. It's because it's so much fun to watch his anguish and then, finally, his triumphant escape.

Personal addictions:

- angst in relation to honour/pride/necessity

- vivid but to-the-point descriptions

- jokes which make me giggle at 3AM

May the fandom forgive me
I know not what I do
I've been chasing a plot bunny
That I lost in chapter two.

Now all the fans have rallied
And they're after my head
Oh, why am I still writing?
I should just go to bed

For the readers are a-mobbing
And they're screaming O.O.C.
Though I beg their pardon asking
If they've read chapter three

While software holds a party
For I spellchecked my way through
And I'm telling everyone I meet
They should do it too

And fanfictioners around the globe
Are muttering Mary Sue
Drawing from my text proof that
She gets her Gary Stu

And I do admit I'm guilty
Of breaking canon pairs
In my story all characters
Have secret love affairs

And the bad guy as it turns out
has a softer side
so soft that our sweet heroine
Becomes his blushing bride

I hear reviewers cheering
Somewhere among the flames
Of flamers who now hate me...
No need to list the names

But the gift of pen and paper
Never leaves me peace
And as long as fanfiction exists
I'll have my madness sprees.
