I've been involved in fandom for over thirty years and have written in numerous universes. My first fan fiction stories were published in a local long running zine, 'Of Dreams and Schemes', which in 2010 published its 25th and final edition. I started posting online a few years ago. I also write original fiction, have attended a couple of writer's conferences, and am submitting to publishers and editors. I have published serials on line and several poems in collections, some of which I've won awards for.
Fandoms I write/read: Firefly, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG1, Dark Shadows, Forever Knight, Kung Fu:TLC, Charmed, Alien Nation, Kindred, Adderly, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Quantum Leap, Time Tunnel, War of the Worlds, Planet of the Apes, Touched by an Angel, Battlestar Galactica TOS & 2003, Buffy, Dracula: the Series, Kindred, and many more than I can list here.
Special Note: SGA/SG1 fans. I live in the Colorado, so my geographic locations and references are correct.
Please note: Christian Gate Fan has asked me to finish 'Left Behind: Stargate SG1' due to a heavy study schedule and many requests for it to be continued. CGF will be reading for continuity and posting all the chapters so we don't lose anyone on the alert list. I will be working from an outline provided by CGF, adding in a few details here and there as needed. I understand this is highly unusual, but since we worked on the collaboration for LBSG1 & LBSGA, we already have an established writing relationship and a pretty good idea on where the story needs to go. I did obtain permission to make this announcement. Last chapter updated. 01/04/12.
Forum: 'Hang out w/Dragonlots' under TV Crossovers. A safe place for anyone wanting advice on pro writing, talk about my stories, anyone I am/have beta read for, and Christians desiring Christ centered FF. Please, drop by and visit.
I was informed by my zine editor that my Firefly story, 'New Hope', was nominated for the Fan Quality award at Mediawest Con in 2008. I didn't win, but the story and its sequel 'Family Matters' and 'Kissing the Dirt' are available from Of Dreams and Schemes Press, editor Catherine Schlein, issues #22,#23 & #24.

Bit of my background: I was born in Washington State, raised in Idaho, have lived in Oregon, Boston, MA. & Colorado. I've traveled quite a bit, seen much. Yellowstone National Park & the Black Hills area in South Dakota, are two of my favorite places. Anyone who reads my stories will find quite a bit of personal experience in them. As my writing teachers kept saying, write what you know. As the pros say, write what you're passionate about.
I'm separated, have two male cats - we've lost our two females in the past year and half. However, we've added a young female named Adara. She's brought laughter to the house. My chief hobby has over run my working space, but I keep at it. It is dollhouses and it shouldn't be surprising they all have stories about the people and pets that live in them. I'm a semi-pro artist. I sell 3-D pieces in local shows; am a worship dancer; sing with my fellow filkers once a month (Filk : Science Fiction folk singing).
Grew up reading SF with such writers as Andre Norton, Anne McCaffrey, Isaac Asimov, and others from the '50s, '60s and '70s. Worked in a bookstore during the 1980s and was very familiar with many of the big names. In more recent history I attend SF conventions, I know many of the pro, semi-pro and working to get published local writers, several of which are my friends. I also know many of the local artists, including a number who are nationally known. It's like that in fandom.
FYI: I do keep an eye on what C2, favorites and alert lists I end up on. I also read profiles of my readers or those whose stories I'm reading. I like knowing others' backgrounds. Oddly enough, it is also useful marketing information when I talk to publishers about my original novels. Not mention my hit statistics which I discovered they want to know about. Who would have thought?

God's Gift - To be released in 2014. For any of you who enjoyed Corp. Larry Henry in my SGA stories, he and his sisters now star in an original adventure all their own.
"God told us you were coming, tell us about His son."
Major Larry Henry had never expected to hear those words spoken by an alien race. Let alone one with sharp claws and fangs they used for hunting and could easily shred him, his youngest sister and her boyfriend to shreds! But his other sister Susanna and their good friend Kal Devon disappeared from their colony, Larry and the rescue party made an astonishing discovery they weren't alone Galilahi.
Yet Kal had hinted there were secrets being kept from the colonists. Both his friend's sister and Susanna's husband had been killed in hover accidents. The civilian and military leaders made a show of agreeing in public while Larry knew about the conflicts between them. Susanna had made discoveries about the dark fates of earlier colonies. Not to mention a jump in technology which should have taken centures of evolution not just a few decades.
Now stranded on Galilahi with no way to relocate or return to Earth, Larry found himself wondering if the human colonists could co-exist with the felines natives or if human history would repeat itself.
Or did the God Larry believed in and trusted, have another plan none of them knew about?

Note to Flame Reviewers:You might as well give it up because obviously you know nothing about the rules of fandom. This site is a good place for many to practice their craft, crossovers of all kinds are acceptable, and quality of writing varies depending on their skill set. From the examples I've seen of your so called 'writing', most of you are illiterate because you can't express yourselves in any manner other than cussing and name calling. Not to mention all the spelling errors, incomplete sentences, bad punctuation, illogical comments, and bad manners. I do report all of you for violation of TOS. I stand up to bullies so you might as well leave me alone. Nothing you say will stop what I'm writing or chase me off this site.
