I'm not a writer just a fan of good fan fiction stories about Beauty and the Beast TV series, especially those that keep Catherine alive - SND (She's Not Dead or She Never Died) stories that fix or ignore the terribly heartbreaking 3rd and final season of the series, and give Vincent and Catherine the fulfillment of their dream of sharing a happy life together. Any story that begins with "Once upon a time...", especially one with such a unique bond and extraordinary, deep abiding love shared by two beautiful souls, should end with "And they lived happily ever after." I was attracted to the show when it was first broadcasted on TV in the late 80's, though I only got to watch a few partial episodes then and didn't get a chance to watch any more until I purchased the entire series on DVD in late August of 2008. I watched all the episodes of the series in a 3 1/3 days viewing marathon (while recovering from surgery), and was immediately completely hooked. However, I couldn't accept such a sad and disappointing ending so immediately afterward I started searching online for any information about the series in the hope of finding out if it was going to be continued or renewed, or if a movie would be made. That's how I found the BatB fan fiction stories and soon after found the BatB websites and Yahoo Groups. I have been reading the fanfic stories for over 2 years and have read the majority of the V&C stories that I could find online, my favorites more than once, though there are still plenty I haven't read yet. I'm so grateful for the talented writers who write BatB V&C stories that keep Vincent and Catherine's epic love alive.
I like reading SND stories, where Catherine never dies, comes out of a coma, or S3 Alternative stories where Season 3 is completely ignored and replaced by a better alternative. I wish so badly that Season 3 could be erased and replaced with a better and happier ending. (I think the baby making in the cave while Vincent was so ill and out of his mind a very bad idea too.) They could make it seem that S3 was just a bad dream Vincent had (like in the story All That Glitters). I hate any 3rd season stories where Catherine is dead and gone and Vincent and Diana are in love, or he falls in love with another woman. I won't read those. I just find the idea of Vincent in love with anyone other than his truelove and soul-mate Catherine unbearable and impossible. (He'd said to her, "You're my life. If you die - I die.") And I find offensive the stories where Vincent is portrayed more as an animal than as a man, or that have him purr like a common house cat, I really dislike that. To me Vincent is all man and more than a man, not less. I see him more like a lion - noble, regal, dignified - and lions (as well as all other large cats, except the cheetah) can't purr. His leonine features make me think of the symbol of kingship and royalty and majesty and strength, so to have him purr like a common house cat I find truly infuriating, (though there are some stories that are worth reading even though they make Vincent purr; and I like the ones where he makes a deep rumbling, soft growling-purr sound that's unique to him). Vincent is so very beautifully masculine and virile.
I like all Edith Crowe's stories: That's What Friends Are For, The Fire And The Rose, The Four Rods, Candle To Candle, A Dark And Stormy Night, Quid Pro Quo, My Furry Valentine, Sanctuary, Quartet, Excerpts From A Diary. Like all of Carole W. stories found on her blog site - Imagine That, the current and still in progress novel being - Iron Behind The Velvet. Michelle Kempenich's stories - A Sweet And Potent Voice, and her new, in progress story - The Coming Of Light, found on her blog site - Considering Z, as well as some other sites, she's a very promising writer and her new SND story might become one of my favorites, if it's ever completed. Also stories by JoAnn Baca (most found on the CABB website and a few on The Steam ), and Demian (another very talented writer, her BatB stories are found here on FanFiction.Net, my favorite of hers is No Other Dream). Two of my very favorite SND stories, ones that made me shed a lot of emotional tears, are - Spring Roses by Cathy Moran, and - Between Two Eternities by Jo Fredericks (she's written lots of good stories, many found on The Steam site though don't know why this one is there). Also among my very favorites are Cathy Moran's sequel to Spring Roses titled Autumn Wishes, and Winter Memories, Jo Fredericks' steamy story titled When My World Divides and Shatters and Your Love Is Where I'll Go, and Irene Felton's story titled With Love All Things Are Possible. The story Take Me Home and A Safe Place by Lea are also favorites. Like the stories by Teri P., my favorite being All That Glitters and Your Pain Is My Pain. I also like the stories by Rosemarie Hauer (who's also an amazing artist), including The Wish, the series of stories by Debbie Nockels starting with the SND story - Though They Sink Through The Sea, some stories by Pat King, my favorite of hers being Once Upon A Dream. Also like - I'll Prove More True by Moira Keeley (a SND story), and There's Always Tomorrow by Wendy De-Veryard. Like Kathy De's story A Winter Journey and A Tumultuous Engagement; Judy McPherson's story Home; Lynette Combs' story Love Has Come Of Age. Like some of the stories by Linda S. Barth, Joan Stephens and Janet Rivenbark (except for their S3 ones), OOWhiz, SouthofOz--like her Classic stories and SND story - One Love, One Soul, One Bond, as well as several other good writers. I also like to highly recommend the BatB stories by Nefereu, which can be found on this site, and those by Krista found on her blogsite - Things That Are Not And Should Be, and here on under Aliset. I especially enjoyed reading her story titled Elysium.
As I re-read the stories I made a list of all my favorite BatB Classic/V&C, SND (She's Not Dead or She Never Died), S3 Alternative, and AU/R (Alternative Universe/Reality) stories, (and a few S3 stories I found worth reading), with the URL link where they are found. The list also has the URL links to the artwork of my favorite BatB artists and BatB fan sites. Anyone that would like to have a copy of the list can email me to request it.

On my YouTube - FoxySonia - Channel I got saved in my favorites lots of good BatB/V&C music videos (lots of favorites from SandyX/videoam1ture; check out my playlists): http://www.youtube.com/user/FoxySonia
You used to be able to find and watch full episode videos on YouTube but not any longer. Now you can only find short clips and fan made music videos.
Here's a decent REVIEW by the YouTube channel 'Movie Nights':
Beauty and the Beast (1987) (Manic Episodes) (FROM THE ARCHIVES)
And just for comparison sake, here is Movie Nights' review of the awful modern remake (which totally mangled the beloved story), not of the original fairy tale but of the 1987 TV series:
Beauty and the Beast (2012) Pilot (Manic Episodes) (FROM THE ARCHIVES)

I'm sorry that the most of the URL links are not working, they are disabled by fanfiction.net, so there's nothing I can do about that. Only the URL that link to this site, or I'm guessing affiliated sites (YouTube and Facebook) work. To get the URL to any of the stories or websites I listed here, you'll have to google the name.
