Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Christine.
Before I get into the rest of this, I want my readers to know I hate working on several stories at once, so I'll let the reviews do the talking. The story that generates the most is the one most likely to get an update the next week. Take that for what you will.
The Penname: I began my fanfic life after DH by reading a story called 'The Hogshead' on SIYE and fell in love with that version of Ginny (over the canon questionable!ginny) and when I went to review I chose this penname somewhat based on the authors name MyGinevra. The penname followed me to Portkey.org (which is stupid being a H/Hr site) where I suddenly found myself in love with H/Hr and realizing that even according to canon those two were the true soul mates. I found myself on ficwad with the same penname and quickly became a beta for a time for 'Love Has No Age' where you might recognize my lemons. That spurred me onto writing and suddenly I found that GASP I couldn't change my penname to JustRuss the way I wanted because ficwad sucks.
At that point I was only interested in posting on that one site and began writing furiously, so now you know that even though I love a well done Ginny (like mine) my true love is Hermione. Not that I hate other ships.
Searching For The Power: My first fanfic on any site and the first 30 chapters were written in about 2 weeks time, it shows, some day I will rewrite those chapters to bring them up to the standards of the rest of the fic. It took me 100k words to find my own writing style and learn a thing or two about grammar and story structure, and I hope you can forgive the early chapters as it really does get alot better..
Currently I am only into HP and recently Naruto fanfics; I do not have many "favorite" stories because I A) Have high standards and B) Only favorite completed stories unless it's really good. I couldn't stand to basically rec a fic to people that way only to have it abandoned. As for favorite authors there are only a few and I only favorite them for outstanding single fics or a long line of fics that I enjoyed thoroughly. Of course the fact that I haven't frequented ff.net until recently adds to the reasons for the small numbers along with spending my time writing more than reading.
