Author has written 24 stories for Super Robot Monkey Team, and Torchwood.
Hello everyone! Welcome to my little corner of the writing world. You'll notice most of this writing is old & this profile hasn't been updated in ages - that's because I really haven't been writing fanfiction at all of late. Sorry. I'm not deleting this because I figure people might still want to read it, but I doubt I'll be adding anything new here for the forseeable future.
My current main obsession is Torchwood and Doctor Who. Right now a lot of my writing is focused on my alternate universe Torchwood team of Captain Jacqueline Harkness, Iana Jones, Doctor Owena Harper, Gwynn Cooper and Toshiyuki Sato.
I've written in other genres though, some of my old writings are still available at my old site, http:///Lenora_McCoy/ if you're interested. Now that I found the password for that old site I'm going to be updating it.
ATTENTION!
It has come to the attention of a number of people that the quality of fanfiction in the Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! section of this site has been suffering. Some of us are trying to work to improve things. Please visit the wonderful website, Saving Shuggazoom for more about the revolution!
I know some people (you know who you are) are opposing us revolutionaries. I won't flame. I actually posted some helpful suggestions for improvement for one person who has flamed other members of our revolution. But I will say this -- every writer has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is the bottom. Even Shakespeare started out as a poor writer! The difference between the published, famous, skilled authors and the ones on the bottom is practice, patience, and hard work. When someone posts a review suggesting you work on improving your grammar, or that you need to use spell check (there's no excuse for that in my opinion, I mean my browser spell checks automatically for goodness sakes!), don't shoot a flame. Maturity is taking criticism well. If that review was posted that means you should take an objective look at your story and say "how can I make this even better?". If you don't listen to criticism and use it to improve then you will never advance as a writer and you might as well hang up your pen.
And this is where I step off the soap box and return to working on my project. I've got my fire-retardant racing suit on, so flame away. I'll just ignore the incoherent flames. If you say something constructive, then I'll listen.
ETA: I haven't watched SRMTHFG in ages so I haven't been writing but I have gotten lots of faves and comments here so I'll leave the stories up. I just probably won't be writing any more of the MSMF Writer's 100.
Any that are linked above are completed (they'll also show up in my story list below, and the list is also at my story archive.).
Please read and review, any constructive comments are welcome! I'm always looking to improve my writing!
