6/19/10: New Inuyasha story Fated posted. Started this one a while ago, and just decided to finish it today. Enjoy!
If you have noticed, a lot of my stories revolve around dreaming. Initially this was purely unconscious until I actually started thinking about it. I have a theme! I mean, my writing has a theme. There's a reason for that. Have you ever started telling someone about a crazy dream you had, and had to pause and edit a few parts out so your audience wouldn't think you were certifiable? I believe dreams say a lot about our characters. And not just...y'know, characters, but how we perceive ourselves. Digging into this whole psyche thing is one of the most interesting thing I think we can do as people and authors/readers. Plus, narration can do a whole lot within the realm of dreaming without having to explain itself or really make any sense whatsoever. HELLOOOO PLOT DEVICE.
So that's my explanation. Kinda neat/lame, huh?
And no, I was not a psych major, believe it or not.
Writing is one of the most intimate expressions of self. By putting your words down on paper, you offer yourself to the reader. If you enjoy one or a few of my works, please let me know. I do love feedback, and you might get some readership karma points in return. (Not redeemable at Borders or Barnes and Noble, but wouldn't that be nice?)
Also, I don't mind my stories being archived elsewhere, but it's sometimes kind of a shock to do a Google search for my own screenname (yes, I am kinda lame) and find one or several of my stories posted somewhere without my knowledge. Just ask. I don't bite.
"Sometimes stories cry out to be told in such loud voices that you write them just to shut them up." -Stephen King
Quick about me: as of this update (3/16/10), I am a 26-year-old female. Yes, I probably should've grown out of this a while ago, but hey, it's fun. And I'm also lazy on top of being lame, so sometimes I like to play with characters who are already rather well-established both on the screen and in fandom. All the stories below this blurb are my personal take on characters and events either as they should have happened, or how I mostly imagined they would have happened had they actually been documented in the confines of canon events.
