Author has written 20 stories for Doctor Who.
Once again I'm without any way to write. My laptop isn't working. Therefore the two stories "Docudrama" and "Rebirth (Rise) of the Goji" will have to remain unfinished. I know that will irk a few people, and I apologize if it makes you/them unhappy, but it hurts me a lot more than it will bother you, so like me, you'll just have to live with it.
I'm giving up writing. I can't write by hand, and writing in a crowded, noisy library, which only allows one computer access 1 hour a day, is a crap working situation for me. Not worth the bother, quite frankly. It would be different if I were getting paid, but if I were getting paid to write, I would be able to fix my laptop, obviously. What can I say? I love Doctor Who. Have done for over 30 years, when on a rainy afternoon in 1982, I choose to watch some weird British sci-fi TV show on PBS, over the usual dull sports events one finds on Sundays. It was Tom Baker's "Ark in Space." I've been hooked ever since.
My 'addiction' to writing Who-fics first came about as a form of grief therapy, back in the early summer of 2006. I've been at it, ever since, only now it's because it simply helps me pass the time. And, who can fault a hobby that's fun and doesn't cost you anything?
Doctor Who is the property of the BBC, and Daleks are owned by the Terry Nation estate.
