The railway has a branch line that lead to the Sanzu River, there's even an artificial beach built by the kappas, though no one goes there because of all the dead spirits. These are some of the events that had happened there.

Its not uncommon to see undead people, whether in the form of a ghost or vagrant spirit. But when a old face shows up in a new world, things begin to unravel.

Ahiru was brought to Gensokyo from the outside world, he came from what is now known as JR West. He is a hard worker. However things go awry when Nitori's experiment comes to the yards.

Hiroto is one of the bigger engines and pulls the express trains between the Human Village and the the two shrines at both ends of the mainline. These are some of his stories.

Kiyoshi is a small tank engine who mostly shunts trucks, but sometimes pulls trains. Even though he can be a bit cheeky, he can show to be a dependable engine. Even if there's something wrong with the higher ups.

From a lost girl, to injured youkai, even with other engines. The engines on the Gensokyo Railway are always helpful when others are in need. Even if things seem insignificant when observed.

Akemi can be vain at times, but he always wants to impress. However sometimes he can be blinded by his pride, these are some of his stories. Even if things are much more than that seem.

The railway hasn't been the same since Kenta had to be sent for repairs, but the engines manage. The Kourindou branch line opens up.But there's still one more question, who freed Flandre?

Things sometimes on the railway go as much wrong as do things when they go right. These are some of them, even though it might not be an 'accident'.

Shiro is an engine that lives in Gensokyo, he might not be as strong as the other engines. But he always manages to make things work.
