Review Hall o Fame
dazynl8: "THANK YOU FOR THE MADNESS OH GREAT CRACK-QUEEN! yes, that's right. I have dubbed thee Crack Queen of the Yosh Ziggy Stardust Tri-state Area. GROVEL MINIONS FOR SHE BE MIGHTY!" (review for "OMFG WTF")
LadyTeldra: "Oh great crack lords of heaven and earth. Thank thee for blessing wings with a perfectly crackish mind. May I forever be in thy service writing reviews for your blessed one. May she continue granting me her wonderful work. ;p" (review for "OMFG WTF")
TheAliensDidIt: "Wings Mercury, you are, without a doubt, one very epic writer. I salute you. Ahem. And that is all, before I run out of adjectives and start gibbering like mad." (Review for "Aint Nobody Who Can Sing Like Me")
xFlawed Imperfectionx: "Ahem. Anyway. I stumbled upon this and stayed up until 3 in the morning to read this. It's that freaking good. The first few chapters I was asking myself if this was "my thing" or not. I have this little bubble of comfort when I'm reading fanfiction. It has to be Sasuke- and Sakura-centric, set in the original universe, during or post-Shippuden, written with a decent sense of competency...etc., etc.
Anyway, it was questionable to me for reasons I can't explain, but by the third or fourth chapter I realized that it really didn't matter whether or not it was in my little fanfiction comfort zone. It was just really damn good, and I needed to read it. That's all there was to it.
Needless to say, I anxiously await the sequel. You have undoubtedly gained my respect as a literary artist, and I will definitely check out your other works...after I get some sleep." (Review for "Aint Nobody Who Can Sing Like Me")
Tukiko K: "Reading this felt so much like reading a rich fantasy. Your writing is beautiful and vivid, yet dark and mysterious. I love it! You in instantly drew me in. Excellent job!" (Review for "Song of Aether")
The Lady Avaritia "I simply don't know what to say. You weaved the words so masterfully and you created such a vivid emotional picture... I'm speechless..." (Review for "Song of Aether")
Principessastarx "Wow. Just wow. This fic blew me away. The first chapter, I was hooked. I don’t know why I didn’t see this earlier and have spent the last few days reading the whole 20 chapters. It was worth it. So much that I’m actually bothering to log on and review. :)
...This fic is serious and poignant, often beautiful, compelling, showing a mature empathy for character relationships, with enough humour to keep me smiling. The plot is laced with hidden mysteries and twists, leaving open questions that are gradually answered.
You portray characters beautifully. The ones from the manga, although with your own perspective on them, are executed perfectly. Your ocs are believable and likeable and the interactions they make with the other characters are well written..." (Review for "Song of Aether")
twinkletoast You know, I really admire how your OC's are not annoying, and I mean that with all the sincerity in the world. Often times when I read some fan fiction with OC's in it, I cringe upon seeing Mary Sues, cheesy or tasteless dialogue, predictable plot, etc. In fact, I usually steer clear away from stories with OC's entirely. But I'm so impressed with how you can pull it off so well, as if the Canon characters actually had kids whose names are Ryuu, Cho, Yuki, Tadashi, etc. I'm growing very fond of them.
I'm most impressed with Yuki's character development - from an egotistical snob to a genuine individual who cares for her teammates...You portray your characters well...
You are an awesome writer. And I'm not just saying that because you're my awesome beta :) Even from Day 1 (ANWCSLM chapter 1 lol) I got hooked. :DDD
Can't wait to read moreeeee. :)) (Review for "Song of Aether")
iluvinusessnar: Cool story. I saw it around on ffnet, but it wasn't until today when I decided to sit down and actually read - I'm glad I did. You write the characters in such a way that, even if some are a little OOC, they make sense. Sasuke especially is interesting to look at. From a cold-hearted murderer and avenger to a broken father and lost soul, he is no ordinary character. I find it also funny how Yuki is described as the spitting image (and persona lol..) of her dad. It's saddening to think that she had to find out about his dark past so tragically. Hopefully their falling-out will heal over time... so they can reunite and fight against the evil villain. :) Sounds badass. Update soon. :) You're a really great author. (Review for "Song of Aether)
Homely : Wow, you are an excellent writer :) I loved this story; you avoided melodrama, cliche, and all that stuff ;3 as a fellow writer I would like to say that I look up to you, and hope that as long as I keep practicing I'll someday be able to write like you. Your descriptive skills are captivating :) You most certainly have the potential to be a published writer, in my opinion.
But anyway, yes. Great story, I loved how you kept them in character, and never made their relationship too fluffy or anything. One of the best reads I've had in a while. :') (For "Better Off Dead")
YingYang890: It's so rare to find a fanfiction as well-crafted and original as yours. I can't wait to see the conclusion, and I want to thank you for posting up such a wonderful story and seeing it to the end! (For "The Cursed Geisha")
BlackPoppy.0: AWWWW! I always love a good SasuHina moment! I'm so glad you updated, because I'm going through a rough patch and I really love your writings, Winged-neesan. Honestly they always make me feel lots better! BUT OMG I JUST HAVE TO SAY, YOUR FIGHTING SCENES WERE FREAKING INCREIBLE! I could picture everything so clearly, and oh my gosh, they were just so good! Never stop writing! I get so happy when I see you updated, and your writing really does make me feel better! (For "The Cursed Geisha")
Guest: The funny thing is that I don't usually come to fanfiction. net much anymore because most of the stories just feel so hollow to me. The only thing that brings me back is your story because it is truly interesting and written well. I find myself thinking about your story when I am doing something else and that is what impresses me so much because that has never happened to me before with a story from this site. I can't wait for more! :) (For "Together We Fall Apart")
kenni no. 1: It's like the absurd and bizarre adventures of Hinata. you can't help but stare in morbid fascination. (For "Together We Fall Apart")
complicityangel: Holy Shit. This has to be the biggest kick to my metaphorical balls ever. I was not expecting this plot twist. I love it! I fell in love with your story Better Off Dead. But, I think I'll love this one even more even if it doesn't end as Sasuhina. Please continue to update regularly. You've become one of my favorite fanfiction writers on the site. You have an amazing ability to mix humor with drama and it melds together so wonderfully! (For "Together We Fall Apart")
embracetheweird16 :When I saw you updated I literally fist-pumped into the air. God, I feel kinda sorry for Sasuke, though I'm kinda glad for Hinata though I think she deserves better (I know confusing, right!). Your fanfic is really good, its one of the few I look forward to an update from because I know there isn't ten others like it. Please continue with the good work! (For "Together we Fall Apart")
Confortare : Oh man, I love how you capture those lovely unsaid moments between the two of them. A nudge, a meaningful look, holding hands...you're so good at writing that subtle love. (For "Steal My Dreams")
reddragonflyy : With the end of Part I, I thought it was a good moment to re-read this fic and write a good review. So here it is:
Favorite character: Sakura. She is so well-written in this story. I love when she is bold. I think this is the Sakura that we see in the gates asking for a kiss at the end of Gaiden.
Favorite chapter: 20. What can I say? It is just perfect! It is funny, unexpected, sweet... I love when Sakura threw that kunai. And I love even more when she said "I know. I love you too". The title is perfect, cause I melted a little after this line.
Less favorite moment: There isn't a moment that I really dislike, but my "less favorite" moment was Sasuke leaving the village again. Why God? WHY? Can't someone tie him to a tree or something? I hope that we get to see the moment where he stays for good.
Honorable mentions: Ino and her mother. Very well portrayed too.
What I expect to the future: I feel that we'll have a good dose of drama before this fic ends, but as you have been balancing it so well I am not concerned about this. What I would like to see is the blue and red rose again. Normally, when I receive that blessed email from Fanfiction and I have to think which one is Steal my dreams, in my mind something whispers: It is the one with the roses. So, I hope that they appear again.
Finally, thank you for updating. I saw that you have been writing this fic for a while... Thank you for not giving up. I am looking forward to the next chapters! :) (For "Steal My Dreams")
Guest: This is the far the best fic which I read so long time. I was crying at some parts and I must thank you for writting the original Sasuke and not the OOC Sasuke. I could imagine their relationship like this but I must say that it is so painful to read T.T Love your fics so much (For "Steal My Dreams," chapter 25)
iBloo:I've been reading your story for a few days now. And I even lost sleep for it! I told myself I was going to sleep at 12:30am but I ended up sleeping at 2:30am because I could not stop reading. Your writing is amazing, and the way you portray Sasuke and Sakura makes my heart melt. I often think they're just 12, or 15. But here, they really have grown into adults. They matured greatly.
There were times wherein I was laughing, squealing, and even crying for them. You did an amazing job by stirring all of my feelings. These are the kinds of stories I love. Ones that really pull me in the moment and make me feel what all the characters are feeling. Great job! I look forward to reading more of this fic. Please update soon, and take care of yourself. :) (For "Steal My Dreams")
Hiwaga Ng Tala: Stumbled upon this back in 2015 when this was still relatively new, and as a 16-year-old I remember loving this story instantly because of how you portrayed the characters and depicted their emotions. Fast forward to 2018 after being back from a fandom hiatus due to business of life, I created a new account in which I can write. Going through the stories in which I had emotionally invested upon for a time, I found this again and just like three years ago, you still never cease to amaze me with your writing. I love how you develop everything and just feed my love for my ultimate OTP! I hope I can read another chapter from you soon :) (For "Steal My Dreams")
Oh my god, this is why I write fanfic! XD
