I'm a busy 20-year-old from the deep south with passions for the arts, literature, and anime/manga. I'm a student at Emory University. I write because I love to write.

Fic Status (8/16/2010)

Since I've been getting back into the swing of things, I better update my profile. I'm most definitely not 19 anymore. I'm old.

In the past two years, I've spent a LOT more time on my art. I finished my TakuAki doujinshi finally, and links are available to those who ask. I also have gotten into the One Piece fandom, so expect OP fics at some point in the future (particularly in the ZoroxTashigi department- my muse loves them). I've also been dabbling into original fiction, and I believe that my experience with that has significantly improved my writing. I've chosen to go beyond simple fluff stories and experiment with more mature styles of writing (no, that does not mean porn necessarily). I've become a bit of a writing quality snob, however; take that as you will. I promise I'm not too mean, though. XP

I also intend on branching into different pairings, and even perhaps writing genfic. I'm getting rid of my "favorite pairings" list because frankly, I see no reason to confine myself to a set list of OTPs. Not that I was ever confined to it to begin with, but sometimes I feel like writing for a pairing I hate just to see if I can. I still have my favorites, and will continue to write for them, but don't be surprised if something blasphemous like ShizNat shows up in your email alerts. XD

Join this wonderful, pairing-friendly community. The Takumi x Akira side of the HiME fandom is grossly underrepresented, so I need y'all to change that! Also, I blame this community for my realization that not all ShizNat fans are insane, and are, in fact very nice and accepting individuals. I've made great friends from all sides of the HiME community. I also blame these crazy chicks (and dudes) for bringing out my sudden desire to write HiME yaoi. O.O Seriously, Mai-Universe is a wonderful place to go. I sound like I belong in a cult or something. o.o;;
